Title Match Added To ROH’s Wrestling’s Finest Event This Saturday, Preview For ROH TV
- Ring of Honor has added a 3 Way match to the card for this Saturday’s “Wrestling’s Finest” event, when Tommaso Ciampa defends the ROH World TV Championship against the longest reigning TV Champion in ROH history Matt Taven and former TV Champion Jay Lethal. The event takes place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the night before the Royal Rumble.
Tommaso Ciampa defeated Matt Taven in under three minutes at “Final Battle 2013″ last month to capture the ROH World TV Championship. Since this he defeated Silas Young on this past weekends episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling to retain the title and it was announced – if he can retain the title this coming weekend – that he or whoever the TV Champion is at the point, will defend the title against Germany’s 2Face for wXw, in a match which will air on ROH television.
With the announcement of this match the card for “Wrestling’s Finest” is as follows:
3 WAY TAG TEAM ELIMINATION MATCH
ROH World Champion Adam Cole & Matt Hardy vs. The Briscoes vs. Michael Elgin & Chris Hero
2 OUT OF 3 FALLS MATCH
Paul London vs. Roderick Strong
3 WAY ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
“The Sicilian Psychopath” Tommaso Ciampa (c) vs. Jay Lethal vs. Matt Taven
THE FINALS OF THE TOP PROSPECT TOURNAMENT
