TNA Final Resolution Results – December 9th, 2012

Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to PWMania’s live coverage of the final TNA Pay Per View of 2012, Final Resolution!

The show begins with a video package of Jeff Hardy talking about images. Flashes of Jeff Hardy’s TNA career are shown inter-spliced with those Robert Roode.

The opening pyro goes off with Todd Kenely welcoming us to TNA Final Resolution

“The Cowboy” James Storm comes out but he is not booked in a match. James Storm talks about the situation with Ace’s and Eight’s and the crowd chants “Up His Butt” (I did not make that up) James Storm calls out Bobby Roode but Kazarian comes out. Kazarian calls James Storm a baby and a drunk but the crowd cheers that. We have an impromptu match up between Kazarian and James Storm.

Kazarian tries to leave but James Strom stops him. They brawl on the outside before finally rolling into the ring. James Storm takes Kazarian down with a Thesz Press. Kaz levels Storm with a clothesline and pushes his foot into Storm’s throat. Kazarian hits his springboard legdrop for a two. Kazarian has Storm in a Necklock. Storm fights out of it and hits Kazarian for a couple of clotheslines before hitting a double underhook suplex. Storm hits Kazarian with an Alabama Slam followed by a Codebreaker. Storm steps up for the Last Call and hits it for the win.

WINNER: “The Cowboy” James Storm

James picks up a mic and delievers his “Sorry Bout Your Damn Luck” line.

The commentators runs down the schedule matches and recap the ending of this week’s Impact when Ace’s and Eight’s attacked Jeff Hardy.

A lovely scanning shot of Christy Hemme is shown as she announces the next match.

Kenny King makes his entrance following by the champion, RVD.

TNA X-Division Championship Match
Rob Van Dam (c) vs Kenny King

They both shake hands before the match. RVD locks King in a side headlock. Drop toe hold by RVD takes King down but King rolls RVD up for a two count. RVD hits back kick onto King and Kenny hits RVD with a back kick of his own. RVD rolls to the outside to catch his breath. RVD with a single leg takedown. The trade arm drags and King sends RVD into the corner. RVD goes up top but King knocks RVD off the top rope with a thunderous kick and RVD lands of the barricade. RVD is back inside and gets rolls up for two. King puts RVD in a necklock. RVD hits King with a kick to the face but only gets two. King gets leveled with a corner kick for two. King and RVD trade punches in the ring. King and RVD trade kicks in the ring and RVD sends King flying with a monkeyflip and follows with Rolling Thunder. RVD misses with the 5-Star and King sets up The Royal Flush. RVD reveres and rolls King up with his rolling leglock pin for the win.

J.B. is in the back and he interviews Christopher Daniels who talks about his feud with AJ Styles.

Ryan and Morgan come out with Joey Ryan’s cheesy porno music followed by the Tag Team Champions Hernandez and Chavo.

World Tag Team Championship Match
Chavo and Hernandez vs Ryan and Morgan

Chavo and Ryan starts things off with Chavo hitting a couple of uppercuts before stomping Ryan in the corner. Hernandez comes in and hits a couple team move. Soon after Super Mex and Matt Morgan and in the ring and taking shoulder tackles to see who gets off their feet first. Morgan hits a Discus Clothlines on Super Mex and tag in Ryan. Super Mex takes Ryan up with a suspended vertical suplex. Chavo is tagged in and hits a belly to back suplex for two. Hernandez is back in and hits a big splash in the corner. Chavo gets tags back in but is taken down by Ryan who tags in Morgan.

Morgan takes Chavo down with a sideslam and he tags Ryan back in. Ryan has Chavo in a necklock but Chavo fights out of it only to get nailed with a dropkick. Morgan is tagged in and chokes Chavo in the ropes. Joey hits Chavo with a couple of shoulder blocks in the corner but Chavo hits Ryan with a headscissors and sends him into the middle turnbuckle. A hot tag is made to Hernandez. Morgan hits Super Mex with a suplex. Ryan tries to cover but gets 2. Hernandez hits Morgan with a clothesline to send him to the outside. Chavo hits the Frog Splash on Ryan but Morgan pulls the referee out. the Ref calls for the bell.

WINNERS and STILL TNA Tag Team Champions via DQ: Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez

J.B. is in the back and he interview former World Champion Austin Aries about his match-up with Bully Ray. Austin mocks Hulk Hogan as he leaves.

Austin Aries and Bully Ray match their entrance with Aries wearing a robe much like The Macho Man used to.

Austin does not get in the ring immediately and waits around for Bully Ray to make the first move. They follow lock up and trade opening blow. Aries hits Ray with a dropkick and follows up with a top rope elbow strike. Aries hangs Ray up in the rope and chokes him with them. Aries with an elbow to the back of Ray’s head and he mocks Hulk Hogan before hitting Ray with a boot to the face. Aries hits Hogan’s legdrop for two but Ray hits Aries with a slap to the chest. Ray hits Aries with a military press followed by a splash for two. Ray goes up top and hits Aries with a missile dropkick. Ray is dropped to the outside by Aries. As Aries was going for a suicide dive, Ray hits him with a big boot. Aries goes for the brainbuster but Bully counters into a cutter for two.

Ray is sent to the outside and blades. Bully is bleeding heavily and Aries punches at the wound. Brooke Hogan comes out and begs Austin not to do anything. Aries drags Brooke into the ring. Brooke is in the corner and Aries is screaming at her. Hulk Hogan comes out and takes his daughter away. Aries comes up from behind and hits Ray with a low blow. Ray is rolled up by Aries who gets the pin.

WINNER: Austin Aries

A video package for the Knockouts Title is shown. Mickie and Tara’s matchup is disgracefully overshadowed by the return of Velvet Sky.

In the back J.B. interviews Tara and his boytoy Jesse.

Mickie James come out in a yellow shirt and overalls while Tara comes out in all black.

Two of the best women’s wrestlers in the world today lock up in the ring with Tara in control at the start. Mickie rolls through with a headlock take down. Tara has Mickie in an armlock and takes her down but Mickie kips up and flings Tara to the ground by her hair. Tara chats with her boytoy for a second only for Mickie to roll her up for a 2 count. Mickie hits her corner headscissors and as she was setting up for the Mickie DDT, the boytoy pulls Tara out of the ring. On the outside Tara smashes Mickie’s face into the apron and rolls her back in. Tara stomps down on her rival. Tara goes for the Widows Peak and Mickie rolls through for a pin but Jesse has distracted the referee. Mickie is hit with a spinning side slam from Tara for two.

Mickie kicks Tara in the head and hits her with several elbows and forearms. Mickie hits Tara with an Enziguri for two. Mickie sends Tara to the outside where she is caught by her boytoy, Mickie goes to the top and lands on Tara. On the apron, Mickie is distracted by the boytoy who gets level with a kick. Tara yanks her back inside and hits her with a Widow’s Peak for the win.

WINNER and STILL Knockouts Champion: Tara

In the back J.B. whores out TNA’s Twitter presence and then interviews Bobby Roode, who talks about his title reign and how he will beat Jeff Hardy for the title tonight.

A video package is shown of the Sons of Anar…I mean the Ace’s and Eight’s storyline of destruction with Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe standing up to them. Their match is next.

The Ace’s and Eight’s make their way to the ring. Devon, Doc, and two smaller guys come out. Joe, Garrett, Wes, and Angle come out.

Kurt Angle, Wes Brisco, Garrett Bischoff, and Samoa Joe vs The Aces and Eights.
Kurt Angle and Devon start things off with Devon punching Kurt in the corner. Samoa Joe is tagged in and DOC is tagged in. Joe begins to beat the unholy hell out of DOC. Joe with a running elbow and a spinning back kick in the corner. Bischoff is tagged in but is brought into the corner and Masked Man #1 is tagged in. The MM hammers Garrett with forearms and then chokes him with the ropes. Garrett tags in Wes and they double team with Poetry in Motion to MM 1, MM 2 is tagged in and gets his arm wrenched by Wes. Joe is tagged in and begins to kick the MM. On the outside, the A&8 begin to assault Joe in the outside before rolling him back him. Devon is tagged back in.

DOC is tagged in and hits Joe with a splash and followed that up with several elbows. DOC locks Joe in a chinlock. Devon is tagged in as the crowd chants “You sold out”. Joe and Devon trade hits but Devon hits Joe with a spinning elbow. MM 1 is tagged in and punches Joe in the corner. MM 2 is tagged in and ties for a splash by Joe counters it. Angle comes in and takes out everyone with punches and suplex’s. Angle pins MM 2 for 2. A brawl breaks out. Wes hits DOC with a flying crossbody. Joe boots Devon in the face and follows up with a Suicide Dive. Kurt takes down the straps and locks MM 1 in the Angle Lock. DOC comes in with the hammer but Garrett stops him and clears the ring. Angle hits MM1 with the Angle Slam for the win.

WINNERS: Kurt Angle, Wes Brisco, Garrett Bischoff, and Samoa Joe

In the back, J.B. interviews AJ Styles who talks about his match with Christopher Daniel and his rough year.

Christopher Daniels comes out dancing followed by AJ Styles who is nothing but serious.

“The Phenomenal” A.J. Styles vs “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels: No DQ, No Countout

They lock up and Daniel is sent into the corner, the referee breaks them up. Daniel takes control of the arm but AJ counters but gets hit with an elbow. AJ has Daniels in a headlock but Daniels reverses. Snapmare by AJ followed by a side headlock. Daniel takes AJ down with a shoulderblock and AJ rolls to the outside for a breather. AJ gets back into the ring. They lock up with a test of strength. AJ levels Daniels with a clothesline and a back to the head. AJ hits his signature dropkick. AJ tries to go for a German Suplex but Daniels counters, AJ hits him with a headscissors and a body splash into the corner.

AJ locks Daniels into the Deathlock and follows with a kick to the chest. Out of the apron, AJ drops Daniels onto the apron with a suplex. Back on the apron again, Daniels drops AJ onto the apron with a Uranagi. On the outside, Daniels sends AJ into the steel steps and suplexes AJ onto the steps themselves. Back in the ring AJ is sent down with a back body drop by Daniels. Daniels hits clothesline from behind. Daniels kicks AJ in the gut for two. Daniels slaps AJ in the face several times in the ring before hitting a suplex. Daniels hits a springboard leg moonsault. Daniels follows up with a tilt-a-whirl slam and a chinlock. AJ fights out and they both collide in the air as they go for crossbodys. AJ is busted open. Daniels with a Uranagi and BME. Daniels lands on his feet after AJ moves. Styles with his springboard elbow then a Torture Rack Bomb for two. AJ with a headscissors but Daniel counters with a Tilt a Whirl Bomb for Two.

AJ hits his Reverse DDT for two. AJ is sent to the top rope and gets hit with a superplex. They trade hits in the middle of the ring. Daniels hits Styles with an Enziguri but Daniels is then hit with a Discus Clothesline. AJ Styles hits the Pele. AJ goes for the Styles Clash but Daniels reverses, Daniels goes for the Angels Wings but AJ counters into the Clash for two. AJ goes for the Top Rope Styles Clash but Daniels reverses into a hurricanrana. Daniel hits Styles with the Styles Clash and gets the win.

WINNER: “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels

A video package is shown for the main event. Hardy vs Roode is next. The commentators run down the Tales of the Tape.

Bobby Roode comes out first wearing his sparkly robe. Jeff Hardy follows suits, wearing a Goblin helmet, and holding the World Title while wearing the Immortal Title around his waist.

J.B. is in the ring and gives both men their Championship introductions.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match
Jeff Hardy vs Bobby Roode

Champion and Challenger lock up in the middle of the ring as the crowd is solidly behind the champion. Roode stomps Jeff Hardy down to the mat and continues to stomp until he goes for the pin but only gets one. Roode goes into a full mount and begins to punch Hardy on the mat. Roode gets taken down the a headscissors and then gets driven to the mat with a back body drop. Roode is sent to the outside and Hardy lands a flying crossbody. Hardy sends Roode into the ring and gets a two count. Hardy with a dropkick to Roode’s back. Roode sends Hardy into the corner and nails him with a clothesline for two. Roode hits Hardy with a knee to the head for two. Hardy is laying on the bottom turnbuckle and Roode chokes Hardy with his foot. Roode elbows Hardy on the mat and gets another two count. Hardy is in a chinlock as the crowd tries to motivate him to break free. Hardy is gassed in the middle of the ring as Roode continues to beat him down.

Roode clotheslines Hardy in the corner and followed up by snaping Hardy’s neck and back as he sits up in the ring. Roode has Hardy in another chinlock. Hardy is choked by Roode’s boot in the corner who followed up by bodyslamming Hardy. Roodes goes up top but as he comes down he is met with Hardy’s boots. Hardy with a Russian Leg Sweep and a winning attempt for two. Hardy with a head full of steam is tossed to the outside by Roode. Hardy is sent into the Steel Steps and he is rolled back into the ring for two. Roode elbows Hardy in the head and locks in a rear chin lock. They trade punches in the middle of the ring and Jeff hits a flying forearm followed by a boot to the head of Roode.

Hardy comes off the middle rope with a splash for two. Hardy hits the Whisper in the Wind for two. Roode rolls up Hardy for two but is nailed by Hardy’s mule kick. Hardy hits a front face suplex. Hardy hits an inverted splash from the middle rope for another two. Roode reverses the Twist of Fate into the Spinebuster for two. Roode picks Hardy up but is nailed by the Twist of Fate. Roode luckily rolls to the outside as Jeff sets up the Steel Steps for Poetry in Motion. Jeff goes for the move but Roode moves and Hardy lands in the crowd. Roode rolls Hardy back into the ring for two. Roode goes for a Superplex but Hardy fights out of it. Hardy goes for the Swanton and hits it. Hardy fails to cover him and sells the assault on his back. Roode hits a Spear for Two.

The Aces and Eights make their way to the ring but do nothing as Roode screams at them. Roode turns around into the Twist of Fate for the win

WINNER and STILL TNA World Champion: Jeff Hardy.

The Aces and Eight come into the ring and leave Hardy laying. Roode yells at them for not helping him and the Aces lay him out as the scene fades to black.
