TNA Star Undergoes Knee Surgery, Video Preview For Impact
– Velvet Sky said on her newly launched Twitter account that Chris Sabin, who she is dating, underwent surgery on his knee this weekend.
“Please keep Chris Sabin in your prayers as he makes a speedy recovery from his knee injury,” she wrote.
Sabin suffered the injury during a match at the April 20 iMPACT! taping. He went for a springboard clothesline and tweaked his knee when Anarquia was out-of-position to take the move. The referee was instructed to end the match when it appeared Sabin was injured.
After the match, an angle took place where the Mexican America faction beat down Sabin before Alex Shelley made his return to television to make the save.
