On Thursday’s episode of TNA Impact Wrestling Sting won the opportunity to face TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray on June 2nd, 2013 at the annual Slammiversary pay-per-view event.

Sting defeated Matt Morgan in the main event, locking in the Scorpion Death Lock and forcing Morgan to pass out in the middle of the ring, prompting Earl Hebner to call the match.
