2007 – TNA star Shark Boy settled his lawsuit against Dimension Films & several other entities over the infringement of his copyrighted & trademarked name “Shark Boy” in the Robert Rodriguez film “The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3-D”

2008 – World Wrestling Entertainment suspended creative team member Michael Hayes for 60 days due to an incident that took place in Florida during the course of Wrestlemania week where Hayes allegedly made an explicitly insulting comment towards Smackdown star Mark Henry, using a racially explicit word

2009 – K.C. On The Mat, a documentary on the Kansas City territory, aired via local cable, directed by former WWE Creative Team member Chris Gough

2010 – WWE released a slew of talents, including Shelton Benjamin, Mickie James, Funaki, Jimmy Wang Yang, Slam Master J (Ray Gordy aka Jesse of Jesse & Festus), Katie Lea Burchill (now Winter in TNA), & Mike Knox

– Little Guido defeated Super Crazy, Kid Kash in a 3 way match

1946 – Everett Marshall defeated The Swedish Angel to win the Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Title in Denver, Colorado

1964 – Dick the Bruiser defeated Fred Blassie to win the World Wrestling Association World Heavyweight Title in Los Angeles, California,

1968 – The Spoilers (#1 & #2) defeated Fritz von Erich & Billy Red Lyons to win the WCCW American Tag Team Titles

1968 – Johnny Rougeau defeated Ivan Koloff to win the IWA International Heavyweight Title in Montreal, Quebec

1996 – on Nitro taping, The Giant defeated Ric Flair to win the WCW World Title, it would air on the April 29th episode of WCW Monday Nitro
