In 1994, The WWF holds its first-ever Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at Baltimore, Maryland’s Omni Inner Harbor International Hotel.  The Hall Of Fame had been created the previous year, with Andre The Giant as the inaugural inductee.  The event was never released, although highlights and clips have been shown on WWE TV and Classics on Demand.  Inductees & inductors were:

Title Changes

1932 – Ed “Strangler” Lewis defeated Dick Shikat to win the New York State Athletic Commission version of the World Heavyweight Title. National Wrestling Association World Champion Jim Londos was supposed to face the winner of this match, but he refused, so New York recognized Lewis as the new World Champion, while the NWA continued to recognize Londos

1938 – The Masked Marvel (Ted Cox) defeated Vic Christy to win the Montreal World Heavyweight Title in Toronto, Ontario

1959 – The Golden Giant defeated Bull Curry to win the Texas Brass Knuckles Title

1960 – Nick Roberts & Art Nelson defeated Dory Funk Sr. & Bob Geigel to win the Amarillo version of the NWA North American Heavyweight Title in Amarillo, Texas

1966 – Johnny Valentine defeated Fritz von Erich to win the WCCW American Heavyweight Title

1978 – Angelo Mosca won a tournament final for the vacant NWA Georgia Heavyweight Title in Atlanta, Georgia

1980 – The Fabulous Freebirds (Terry Gordy & Michael Hayes) defeated Junkyard Dog & Buck Robley to win the MSW Tag Team Titles

1986 – Kendall Windham is given back the Florida State Heavyweight Title he had lost to the White Ninja (Keiji Mutoh, Great Muta) on May 21st. Video replays shows that the Ninja had used “illegal karate moves” to win the match

1989 – Bob & Kerry Brown defeated Chris Benoit & Biff Wellington to win the Stampede International Tag Team Title in Calgary, Alberta

1989 – Jeff Jarrett & Mil Mascaras defeated Super Zodiac II & Cactus Jack to win the WCCW World Tag Team Titles

1991 – Konnan el Barbaro defeated Cien Caras in the final of a tournament to become the 1st CMLL World Heavyweight Champion

1995 – The Holy Demon Army (Toshiaki Kawada & Akira Taue) defeated Kenta Kobashi & Mitsuharu Misawa to win the AJPW Unified World Tag Team Titles

1997 – on Nitro, Jeff Jarrett defeated Dean Malenko to win the WCW United States Title
