1997 – The Monday Night War continued: WCW Monday Nitro defeated WWF Monday Night Raw: 3.4 to 1.9 in the ratings

2009 – In an interview with  The UK Mirror, actor & early Wrestlemania headliner Mr. T commented that he turned down an invitation to be inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame because of the induction of another celebrity, Pete Rose, ahead of him.

“WWE asked me to be in the Hall of Fame and I turned it down. You know why? They put Pete Rose in the wrestling Hall of Fame. This guy can’t even get into his own Hall of Fame.”

2010 – Ring of Honor announced that Kevin Kelly would be joining the company as an announcer

2011 – Brian McCarthy, 32, of Deer Park, Texas was arrested & charged with illegally distributing pirated broadcasts of TV shows, films, sports programming & PPV events, including WWE PPVs

2014 – The WWE announced on Monday Night Raw that William “Paul Bearer” Moody would be inducted in the 2014 class of the WWE Hall of Fame
