Top NJPW Tag Team Confirmed For ROH/NJPW Crossover Shows In May

– Ring of Honor continue confirming names ahead of the crossover shows in May with New Japan Pro Wrestling, and the latest announcement is for World Class Tag Team, Gedo and Jado, who behind-the-scenes work for NJPW as the head bookers.

The following is the release published by ROH at ROHWrestling.com:

“The World Class Tag Team” Gedo and Jado return to North America. The former four-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions have worked in just about every major promotion in Japan. The two also had a few matches on American soil in 2000 when they competed for ECW. These two veterans of the ring debuted in New Japan Pro Wrestling in 1989 and have been there regularly since 2001.

With other world class tag teams in ROH including reDRagon, The Briscoes, Adrenaline RUSH, Raymond Rowe & Hanson, and ROH World & IWGP Jr Heavyweight Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks, the possibilities are endless on who “The World Class Tag Team” could face. And if they are involved in singles competition, it’s something that both competitors are familiar with. Jado is also a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion in the singles ranks.
