“Tough Enough” Contestant Rima Fakih Arrested On DUI Charge

Tough Enough contestant and former Miss USA Rima Fakih was arrested Saturday morning in Highland Park, Michigan on suspicion of drunk driving.

WXYZ.com reports Fakih took a breathalyzer and blew a 0.20, more than twice the state’s legal limit. She spent most of Saturday in jail.

Fakih originally tried to deny that she was arrested by stating on Facebook and Twitter that it was actually someone else with the same last name. The posts were removed late Saturday and her attorney, Donald Elder, confirmed the arrest.

Elder told the Detroit Free Press Fakih was “very saddened and very apologetic for the situation that she is in right now.”

The story can be accessed here.
