Triple H Reacts To CM Punk’s Claims, Batista’s Return, Ultimate Warrior In WWE HOF & More

As part of his in character weekly sit down interview with Michael Cole, WWE COO Triple H talks about C.M. Punk, Batista, Warrior to the Hall of Fame and more:

– After C.M. Punk said Triple H had something to do with the New Age Outlaws bailing on Punk in a match on Raw, Hunter heelishly wrote off Punk’s claim as “ridiculous paranoia.”

Hunter planted seeds for an eventual confrontation by saying perhaps Punk should look in the mirror and see why partners tend to bail on him after spending one week by his side.  Hunter cheered up and said, “I like C.M. Punk.”

– Hunter then talked Randy Orton attacking John Cena, Sr. Hunter called it an “an ugly situation” that he wishes didn’t happen. “We’re going to investigate it and handle it internally,”.

Asked about Orton seeking him out on Raw, Hunter said Orton has his cell phone and home number, so he can find him. Hunter added that The Authority have not appeared on Raw the past two weeks because they’re busy handling other matters.

– On the Ultimate Warrior returning to the Hall of Fame after 18 years away, Hunter said, “Time heals wounds,” and “people grow.” Hunter described Warrior as “one of the biggest icons in this industry” who should be in the Hall of Fame. “Quite frankly, having the Ultimate Warrior in the Hall of Fame is best for business,” Hunter said, channeling Vince McMahon.

– Hunter hyped Batista’s Raw TV return next week as the biggest event of the year thus far, topping the Network announcement, Old School Raw, and Royal Rumble build-up.
