Triple H Update, FCW’s Summer Slamarama, JBL’s Climb, Birthdays
- Triple H has been added to the WWE SmackDown tapings on June 12th from the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire.
- FCW’s Summer Slamarama tour hits the Crystal River Armory in Crystal River, Florida on Saturday, June 16th for a Father’s Day Salute event. Admission is free for kids 16 and under when accompanied by dad. It looks like Ricky Steamboat and his son Richie will be appearing.
- We noted before that WWE will be sponsoring JBL’s Seven Summits climb for charity later this month. When JBL reaches the top of the tallest mountain in each of the seven continents, he will place a WWE flag on top.
JBL will begin with Russia’s Mt. Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe. He will then go to Mts. Vinson, Aconcagua, Denali, Kilimanjaro, Cartensz Pyramid and finish with Mt. Everest in 2014. Proceeds from the climbs will go to Bermuda’s Family Center, which helps underprivileged children.
- WWE Hall of Famer Howard Finkel turns 61 years old today. Mick Foley turns 46.
