Two Japanese Wrestlers Arrested On Marijuana Possession Charges
Kazushige Nosawa (a/k/a NOSAWA Rongai) and girlfriend Masami Odate (a/k/a Io Shirai) were arrested Thursday at Narita Airport for marijuana possession. Customs officers discovered 75 grams of marijuana worth approximately $5,000 hidden inside a portrait Nosawa brought as the couple returned from a Lucha expo in Mexico.
Odate had breakfast with TNA Wrestling talent Sarah Stock (a/k/a Sarita) on Tuesday; the two are tag team partners for Japanese women’s wrestling promotion Stardom. Stock wrote on Facebook, “I had breakfast with my Japanese tag partner Io Shirai…nice chat about returning to Japan this year to keep dominating in Stardom. Stay tuned!”
