Two ROH World Title Matches Added To Raising The Bar Weekend; Updated Cards

– On March 7 and 8, Ring of Honor hits Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Chicago, Illinois for Raising The Bar Weekend, a double-shot which will see The Young Bucks & Kevin Steen team on Night One to take on The Briscoes and Michael Elgin, plus ROH World Tag Team Champions reDRagon defending against The Young Bucks on Night Two.

Added to each event is an ROH World Championship match, as Ring of Honor have announced that on Night One, Adam Cole will defend the ROH World title against Matt Taven, who has previously defeated Cole for a title, the ROH World TV Championship at the 11th Anniversary Show and would go on to hold it for eleven months.

And on Night Two, Cole will defend the title in a huge rematch from the 12th Anniversary Show, against Chris Hero. During their 12th Anniversary encounter, Hero was able to make Cole submit while referee Todd Sinclair was knocked down. Cole would win the match once the referee revived, leading to Chris Hero telling ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness, to do the right thing.

Through ROHWrestling.com, McGuinness made the rematch under Ringmasters Challenge rules, where the first fall must be decided by pinfall, the second by submission, and if each competitor can achieve both, sudden death rules with either a pinfall or submission.
