UFC 130 Main Event is Off Due To Injury; New Main Event Set

MMAFighting.com is reporting that the scheduled main event for UFC’s 130 PPV, Frankie Edgar vs Gray Maynard for the UFC Lightweight Championship, has been called off due to injuries suffered by both fighters. It’s being reported that Edgar has two broken ribs and that Maynard suffered a knee injury while training.

As a result, the scheduled Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs Matt Hamill bout has been bumped up as the show’s main event, and the Frank Mir vs Roy Nelson match will be the co-main event.
