Update On Kevin Nash’s WWE Future: PPV Match Planned
Following the sledgehammer attack at the hands of Triple H at Night of Champions, Kevin Nash will be off television for the next several weeks.
Nash is currently in California filming a movie called Magic Mike.
Despite his absence, WWE still plans for Nash to headline a pay-per-view this year.
The movie is what he’s doing while away from WWE – but it’s reportedly not the reason his match with CM Punk was scrapped.
When Nash was getting ready to return to the ring, he took the required medical tests and an issue came up that prevented WWE from clearing him to wrestle. The unknown medical issue has to be cleared up before WWE would allow Nash to do a match, but they were willing to let him do spots like the run-in at Night of Champions.
