Update On ROH Announcement, Well Known Indy Name Signed For ROH Show, More

– Ring of Honor has delayed their big announcement in respect to The Ultimate Warrior’s death. The company felt that making the announcement on a week like this would be disrespectful and also the announcement wouldn’t garner as much attention as they would hope. The announcement will be revealed in the coming days and is expected to be a big move forward for the company.

– Well known independent wrestler and former CHIKARA star Tim Donst has been signed to compete at ROH’s Future of Honor 1 show in Newewll, Philadelphia this coming Saturday. Donst is most known for his work in CHIKARA and for his recent matches in Absolute Intense Wrestling against current TNA star, EC3, also known as Michael Hutter or as WWE’s Derrick Bateman.

– ROH announced on Friday that Top Prospect Tournament 2014 participants Hanson and Raymond Rowe have signed contracts with the promotion. Hanson and Rowe were the finalists of the Top Prospect Tournament with Hanson coming out victorious. At the 12th Anniversary Show, Tommaso Ciampa defended the ROH World TV Championship successfully against Hanson, which was followed by Hanson and Rowe debuting their tag team two weeks later on Ring of Honor Wrestling. The duo went by the name of War Machine at the most recent TV taping.
