Update On The Future Of WWE Superstars, SmackDown Preview
– WWE Superstars aired last night on WGN America for the final time due to network officials canceling it last month. The series, however, will continue to air internationally and on YouTube.com. The content of the series will not be changed.
– A WrestleMania XXVII rematch is advertised for tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown as The Corre will battle Big Show, Kane, Kofi Kingston and Santino Marella in an Eight-Man Tag 2-out-of-3 Falls Match.
Other matches that will take place include: Cody Rhodes vs. Trent Barreta; Lay-Cool vs. Beth Phoenix and Kelly Kelly; Alberto Del Rio vs. Christian in a No. 1 Contender’s Match.
– Former WWE talent Dan Spivey (a/k/a Waylon Mercy) was on hand for the WrestleMania weekend festivities.
