Update; The Undertaker Set To Undergo Surgery This Week

F4WOnline.com is reporting that The Undertaker is set to undergo shoulder surgery this week for a torn rotator cuff. As we exclusively reported awhile back, the fear within WWE is that The Undertaker will not be fully recovered in time for WrestleMania next year.

Originally, WWE had creative plans in place for The Undertaker to lost the Buried Alive match to Kane at Survivor Series, but as Taker’s shoulder pain continued to worsen, the decision was made to run the Buried Alive match at Bragging Rights instead so that Taker could have the surgery sooner and hopefully be ready to go come WrestleMania time.
