Video: Dolph Ziggler Talks On His Current Slump In WWE, Getting In Trouble, Comedy & More

Dolph Ziggler spoke to Chris Van Vliet from WOIO-TV about his current slump and admitted it started after he suffered a concussion earlier this summer.

“I’m disappointed in a lot of my work lately, I’m not doing as great as I should be, but I’m working on it, I assure you,” Ziggler admitted. “At some point this will turn around and lead to bigger and better things and being back in the title picture… I’m disappointed in a lot of things that I’m doing and I’m not delivering. I’m known for stealing the show, and I don’t think that I’ve been doing that lately.”

Ziggler’s face turn should have given him a lot more momentum than it has. Hes basically worked with Langston (a still yet unproven talent on Raw) and against The Shield (who are being pushed too hard for Ziggler to come out on top). His match with Ambrose at NoC was solid, but I expected it to be the best match on the card and it fell short.

Dolph is a great athlete. I saw him in a title match at a house show a few weeks ago and he put on an awesome match with Del Rio. The talent is all there, he just needs the right push and right now, and I hate to pull this one, but the WWE is focused on whats “best for buisness” which means nearly five hours a week of the same storyline from August.
