Weather To Affect WWE Tour, “Screech” Accepting Bookings
— This weekend’s WWE tour of the Southeastern United States is expected to be greatly impacted by bad weather.
Four to seven inches of snow is expected to hit most of the South, as well as ice, and is predicted to be the biggest snow storm in that part of the country since 1992.
Jon Holder, a television weather forecaster in Alabama, said all flights are expected to be canceled Sunday through Tuesday. Monday’s SmackDown live event in Birmingham and Tuesday’s SmackDown taping in Huntsville are believed to be in jeopardy. Monday’s Raw taping in Nashville as well as a live event in Knoxville tomorrow will also be impacted.
