What Happened After SD Tapings, Colt Cabana Getting WWE Tryout, JR & Shane McMahon Pic

smackdown-4

- The dark main event after Tuesday night’s WWE SmackDown tapings in Kansas City saw Daniel Bryan defeat Randy Orton with a knee to the face.

- Colt Cabana revealed on his Steve Austin podcast appearance that he’s scheduled to return to WWE NXT soon for another WWE announcing tryout.

- Jim Ross was in New York City on Tuesday for meetings about future projects. He also ran into Shane McMahon. JR tweeted:

  • Devon Corcoran

Announcing?!?! Colt Cabana should be wrestling not announcing!

    • Exfoliating Ugliness

      Too bad he is. :P

  • Dan Saint

He could be an announcer for WWE yet still free to “wrestle” on the indy circuit (ala Lawler). That might be Colt’s decision. So he can work in the WWE while still getting a good payday on the indy circuit as an attraction.

    Holy CRAP Shane’s gone grey!!!
