Why Cody Rhodes Is Picking Tag Partners For Goldust, Who Was Simon Gotch Named After?

- As seen on this week’s RAW and Main Event, Cody Rhodes is picking new partners for his brother Goldust. Monday he tagged with Sin Cara and on Tuesday he teamed with Kofi Kingston. The idea is that Cody will continue to pick new partners for Goldust but they will keep losing. This will build to the next stage of the feud between Cody and Goldust.

- WWE NXT star Simon Gotch, who is in the new tag team with Aiden English, was named after Dean Simon (Dean Malenko) and either Frank or Karl Gotch. Gotch worked the indies as Ryan Drago for around 13 years. He was trained by WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race and signed by WWE back in the summer of 2013.
