Why Did WWE Put A Red “Play” Button In The WrestleMania 31 Logo?

As seen Tuesday, the WrestleMania 31 logo features a red “play” button in the center. Vince McMahon noted at the press conference yesterday that the button in the logo was to highlight Silicon Valley’s tech prowess.

Vince also said that WrestleMania 31 would “rival, if not supersede, the Super Bowl.”

I thought it was because everyone was just going to stream it and not buy it

Don’t get me wrong here, I am a very huge fan of WWE, Wrestlemania, and wrestling in general. I haven’t watched football over Raw in years. However, in no way shape or form will Wrestlemania, with the shape WWE is in now, rival or supersede the Super Bowl. Wrestlemania can barely rival normal Monday Night Football much less the biggest sporting event of the year.
