Why Michael Cole Wasn’t A Pro For NXT Season 4
- Given his new heel personality, it was rumored yesterday that Michael Cole was set to be one of the NXT Season Four Pros.
The original plan was for WWE to put together a new commentary team for the show, which would have been a different combination of Josh Mathews, Todd Grisham and CM Punk. However, WWE decided to drop these plans and keep Cole on commentary and can always re-visit the idea later down the line. The decision was made yesterday afternoon.
