Why WCW Fired Blacktop Bully & Dustin Rhodes, Hernandez Talks His Most Recent Stint In TNA

World Championship Wrestling

– Remember the Blacktop Bully? It was Barry Darsow’s (a.k.a Demolition Smash, Krusher Khruschev, Repo Man) return to WCW Wrestling. During his stay as the Blacktop Bully, he entered a heated feud with a young Dustin Rhodes (who later became Golddust). They had one match at Superbrawl V but the one that will go down in the history books is the King of the Road match from Uncensored 1995. It was a first of it’s kind and extremely bloody to say the least. This match is also very controversial because both men were fired right afterwards by Eric Bischoff. Title Match Wrestling was lucky enough to speak at length with the Blacktop Bully, Barry Darsow himself. Here is what he said led to the Blacktop Bully gimmick…and demise. Check it out below:

– Title Match Wrestling also caught up with Hernandez this weekend at the Alamo City Comic Con. He had some interesting comments about his most recent stint in TNA and how he was getting paid to sit at home, learning he was still employed by reading it on their website.
