WrestleMania Buyrate, Vladimir Kozlov Update, Smackdown News
- WWE announced this past week that WrestleMania did 1.3 million pay-per-view buys. It’s important to note that a more solid number of buys won’t be known until May/June when WWE releases their next SEC filing. Even then the exact number won’t be known because minor adjustments will be made over the course of the year. It’s almost impossible to get a final number for an event that just happened a few weeks ago.
- Former WWE Superstar Vladimir Kozlov, now using the name Alexander Kozlov, will face Jerome Le Banner for the IGF Heavyweight Title on May 26th in Tokyo, Japan.
- After recent live SmackDown specials that have disappointed in the ratings, there are currently no plans at all to move Friday Night SmackDown to Tuesdays and keep it as a live show.
