The International Wrestling Committee (IOC) made the decision today to officially restore wrestling in the line-up for the 2020 Olympic Games, scheduled to be hosted in Tokyo, Japan.
The Olympics made the announcement via Twitter, stating:
Wrestling added to the Olympic programme for 2020 and 2024 Games #BA2013 #olympics

Kurt Angle showed his elation on Twitter, stating:

The vote also confirmed wrestling for the 2024 Olympics.
