WWE ’13 Roster Update, Royal Rumble 2013, JBL Not Hacked, Austin

– DirecTV viewers were unable to watch this week’s episode of Steve Austin’s Redneck Island show on CMT because of the dispute with Viacom. Fnas of the show are now able to watch the full latest episodes on Austin’s website, BrokenSkullRanch.com.

– This week’s WWE Smackdown scored 75,709 in social activity, which topped the previous yearly high of 72,644 on February 27th. This also was the highest social media activity score of the year for a first-run Friday episode.

– As noted earlier, JBL thought his Twitter account was hacked into during his appearance at the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in Waterloo, Iowa last night. It turns out that he was only a victim of a prank because he left his phone laying around. Here’s what JBL had to say on his Twitter account on the incident.

“Just figured out, I WASNT hacked! Left my phone on table last night when I went to bathroom and old wrestlers grabbed my phone,” JBL wrote on his Twitter. “Funny! I wasn’t hacked I was Briscoed! Left my phone and next thing I know I’ve come out of closet! Lol”

– WWE Royal Rumble 2013 will take place on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 10 AM MST.
