We start off with a look at Drew Gulak’s successful defense of the Cruiserweight Title at SummerSlam against Oney Lorcan.

We are in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and your annoucers are Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness, and Aiden English.

Match Number One: Jack Gallagher versus Akira Tozawa (with Brian Kendrick)

They lock up and Gallagher with a side head lock and take down. Tozawa with a head scissors and Gallagher tries to escape but Tozawa adds more pressure. Gallagher shimmies his way out of the hodl and Gallagher works on the legs and he goes for the arm into a side head lock. Gallagher with a single leg take down and he works on Tozawa’s ankle. Gallagher returns to the arm and works on the wrist. Gallagher with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Tozawa with an octopus. Gallagher escapes and Tozawa with a chop. Tozawa with another chop and then he gets Gallagher to flinch so Tozawa with a jab. Gallagher sends Tozawa to the floor and Tozawa hits the ring post. Kendrick checks on Tozawa.

Tozawa collapses when he tries to get back into the ring at six but he gets back in at nine. Gallagher gets a near fall. The referee checks on Tozawa and Gallagher waits for the referee to give the okay. Tozawa with forearms but Gallagher with a head butt to the midsection. Gallagher with a knee to the midsection and a surfboard. Tozawa with a rana and Shining Wizard. Tozawa goes to the apron for the back senton splash but Gallagher moves and Tozawa rolls through. Gallagher with a Gory Special but Tozawa escapes with an arm drag. Tozawa with a running boot to knock Gallagher off the apron. Tozawa with a suicide dive head butt to Gallagher.

They return to the ring and Tozawa goes up top and hits a missile drop kick for a near fall. Tozawa with an Irish whip and then he gets Gallagher on his shoulders but Gallagher with elbows. Tozawa almost lets Gallagher down but Tozawa with a face plant and flying boot to the head for a near fall. Tozawa tries to suplex Gallagher back into the ring from the apron and Gallagher gets back into the ring. Tozawa with a kick but he misses a round kick. Gallagher with a drop kick. Gallagher gets Tozawa on the back and runs Tozawa into the turnbuckles. Gallagher sets for a superplex but Tozawa drops Gallagher to the mat.

Tozawa with the back senton splash and hits it for the three count.

Winner: Akira Tozawa

We see the replay and Gallagher had his foot on the ropes but when Kendrick slapped the mat during the count, Gallagher’s foot came off the rope and the referee did not see it.

Oney Lorcan says two nights ago, he brought the fight to Drew Gulak. He should have walked out with the Cruiserweight Title but Drew took the easy way out by punching him in the throat. It is not over until he puts Drew down for good and becomes the champion.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we see footage from earlier today with Gran Metalik down on the floor as Drake Maverick and Humberto Carrillo check on him. Kalisto and Lince Dorado come to check on Metalik and Drake says Humberto will be taking Metalik’s place.

Match Number Two: Humberto Carrillo, Lince Dorado, and Kalisto versus Ariya Daivari, Sunil Singh, and Samir Singh

Carrillo and Daivari start things off and Daivari with a kick and punches. Daivari with an Irish whip and Humberto floats over and does a back flip. Daivari misses a clothesline and Humberto with a kick. Humberto with a springboard arm drag and another arm drag into an arm bar. Daivari with a knee to the midsection followed by a forearm and Sunil tags in and Carrillo with an arm drag into an arm bar. Kalisto tags in and he comes off the turnbuckles and kicks the arm. Dorado tags in and he hits a double sledge off the turnbuckles. Dorado with a springboard cross body for a near fall. Kalisto tags in and he applies an arm bar. Dorado tags in and Carrillo tags in. Kalisto with a slam and then Kalisto with a splash off Dorado’s shoulders. Dorado with a splash and Carrillo with a handspring splash but the referee did not see the tag to Carrillo.

Sunil with a chop to Kalisto. Kalisto with chops and then he kicks Samir off the apron. Sunil pulls Kalisto off the ropes and knocks Dorado off the apron. Daivari makes the cover and the referee disallows it because he didn’t see the tag. Daivari tags in and he kicks Kalisto. Daivari gets a near fall. Kalisto with punches but Daivari with a forearm and spinebuster for a near fall. Samir tags in and hits a series of elbow drops on Kalisto and then he gets a near fall. Samir with a waist lock and he stands on Kalisto’s hand as he tags Sunil into the match. Kalisto kicks Samir and then Sunil. Dorado is pulled off the apron as Kalisto goes to make the tag. Carrillo is tagged in and he Irish whips Sunil and hits a drop kick.

Humberto with a back roll into a moonsault for a near fall that is broken up by Daivari. Kalisto with Salida Del Sol to Daivari. Sunil and Samir with a double super kick to Kalisto. Dorado and Carrillo with super kicks to Samir and Sunil. Humtero with a twisting plancha while Dorado hits a springboard cross body. Daivari goes to the back because he has had enough. Carrillo goes up top and he hits a missile drop kick on Sunil. Carillo goes up top and Dorado makes the tag. Carrillo with a twisting splash and then Dorado with a Shooting Star Press for the three count.

Winners: Humberto Carrillo, Lince Dorado, and Kalisto

We go to Drew Gulak for comments. He says change is inevitable. When he ascended, he asked for a worthy challenger to step up or step aside. He talks about ghosts from the past like Tony Nese, Isaiah Scott, and Oney Lorcan. He is the champion and all is fair in war. He will dismantle you piece by piece. He says that he is the law.

We go to commercial.

Tony Nese says he lost his opportunity to go to SummerSlam. He made some reflections and he says he has to go back to scratch. He will do whatever it takes to win back the Cruiserweight Championship.

Match Number Three: Oney Lorcan versus Drew Gulak for the Cruiserweight Championship

Lorcan with punches and kicks as the bell rings. Gulak goes to the floor on a break to regroup and calm down Lorcan’s early momentum. Drew returns to the ring and Drew misses a clothesline and Lorcan with a half and half suplex and Drew goes to the floor. Lorcan goes up top and hits a senton off the turnbuckles to the floor. Lorcan gets a near fall. Lorcan puts Drew on the turnbuckles and he sets for a half and half superplex but Drew holds on to the turnbuckle and Drew with elbows and Lorcan falls to the floor. The referee checks on both men.

Drew goes to the floor after Lorcan and Drew sends Lorcan throat first into the announce table. Drew hot shots Lorcan on the apron. The referee starts his count and Lorcan gets back into the ring at nine. Drew with a boot to the shoulder and upper chest. Drew with a chop and Irish whip followed by a clothesline in the corner. Drew with a suplex for a near fall. Gulak works on the neck. Lorcan with kicks but Drew puts the leg in the ropes and Drew with forearms and chops while the leg is caught in the ropes. Drew with a neck breaker while the leg hangs on the ropes and Drew gets a near fall.

Gulak chokes Lorcan on the apron and Drew advises the referee he is aware of the rules. Drew drops Lorcan throat first onto the apron and he gets a near fall. Drew with a rear chin lock. Lorcan with punches to Drew but Drew kicks Lorcan away and Drew with a flying clothesline off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Drew with a rear naked choke to Lorcan. Lorcan with elbows and European uppercuts. Drwe with a head butt and Lorcan with a running European uppercut. Lorcan with a kick for a near fall. Lorcan with a clothesline for a near fall. Lorcan with running European uppercut into the corner but he misses and Gulak slams Lorcan into the ropes and Gulak gets a near fall.

Gulak gets set for the Cyclone Crash but Lorcan gets back to his feet. Drew with elbows and a clothesline for a near fall. Drew puts Lorcan on the turnbuckles and Gulak sets for a Frankensteiner but Lorcan gets away from Drew and he crotches Gulak. Lorcan sets for a half and half superplex but Drew holds on to the turnbuckle. Lorcan is able to hit the half and half superplex. Gulak gets his foot on the rope to save his title for now. Drew goes to the floor to regroup. Lorcan summons the strength to get up and Lorcan sends Drew into the ringside barrier. Lorcan sends Drew into the announce table. Lorcan sends Drew knee first into the ring steps. Lorcan sends Drew back into the ring.

Gulak with an inside cradle for a near fall. Lorcan with a chop to the throat. Lorcan slaps Drewand then he hits a spinning back fist for a near fall. Lorcan slaps Drew and then he slaps Drew in the back. Drew goes for an O’Connore Roll into the GuLock and Lorcan reaches for the ropes but Lorcan passes out.

Winner: Drew Gulak (retains Championship)
