WWE 205 Live Results – June 20, 2017

We start off with Rich Swann and Akira Tozawa talking in the back. Swann mentions his match against Neville tonight and then Titus O’Neil enters. Swann leaves and Titus says that Tozawa showed the world what Apollo Crews told him from the beginning. He has everything it takes to take the Titus O’Neil international. Titus wants to finalize the deal and he gives Tozawa the contract.

Titus says Tozawa wants to play hard to get. Titus offers Tozawa an extra 5% on his first merchandise deal. Titus says he will give him a deal he cannot refuse on Raw.

We are in Dayton, Ohio and your announcers are Vic Joseph and Corey Graves.

Corey and Vic go over two of the matches announced for tonight.

Match Number One: Jack Gallagher versus Tony Nese

They lock up and Nese with a clean break and he poses. Gallagher wants a test of strength and Nese backs Gallagher into the corner again. Gallagher with a head stand in the corner to keep Nese away until Tony runs into the boots. Gallager rolls up for Nese and then he mares Nese to get a near fall. Nese with a punch and knee. Nese with a side head lock. Gallagher with a top wrist lock and Nese goes for the hair and then hits a Northern Lariat. Nese with a back elbow.

Nese with kicks and he puts Gallagher in the tree of woe. Nese with some ab work as he kicks Gallagher in the corner. Gallagher with a punch and Nese with a knee. Nese gets a near fall. Nese sets for a suplex and he gets Gallagher up but Gallagher lands on his feet and he connects with knees and a forearm. Gallagher with a drop kick and a butterfly slam for a near fall.

We return to Austin and his banana watching from the back.

Gallagher with a head butt and both men go down. Nese drops Gallagher on the top rope and Nese misses a double jump moonsault. Nese runs into the ring post when Gallagher moves out of the way. The referee checks on Nese and Gallagher stays gentlemanly and waits for Nese to get up. Gallagher turns his back and Nese with a rollup into the turnbuckles followed by a running knee and he gets the three count.

Winner: Tony Nese

Noam Dar is on Face Time with Alicia and he talks about moving on from Cedric.

Cedric Alexander shows up and he says this is over.

Alicia says it is over when she says it is over.

Noam says they suggest that Cedric quit 205 Live or they will make his life a living hell.

Noam asks Cedric if he can fish because he will have to fish it out of the bottom of the river.

Cedric shows his bag to Noam.

Noam asks Alicia if she said the bag was gold.

Ariya Daivari enters and he asks where his bag is and that there are only two of them in the world and it costs $15,000.

We go to commercial.

Corey and Vic talk about Drew Gulak and his focus on Mustafa Ali. We have a video package.

Drew starts a ‘What do we want . . . Ground Based Offense. When do we want it . . . Now’ chant. Drew tells Ali that he is not on the fast track to super stardom. These people are brainwashed by the 450 splash. They need a good top wrist lock. They know better than the WWE Universe. It is their job to give everyone a Better 205 Live and declare this match a No Fly Zone.

Ali drop kicks Gulak to the floor and he hits a pescado. The referee holds Ali back.

Match Number Two: Drew Gulak versus Mustafa Ali

Ali with forearms but Gulak with a head butt. Gulak with an Irish whip and Gulak misses a charge into the corner. Ali with a cross body for a near fall. Gulak pushes Ali over the top rope to the floor and Ali holds his arm. They return to the ring and Gulak with a punch to the arm. Gulak with a key lock and a forearm to the back. Gulak with a kick to the back. Gulak yells at Ali as he stands on his head. Gulak wtih an abdominal stretch. Gulak with a hammer lock slam and he gets a near fall.

Gulak slaps Ali and then he returns to the key lock. Gulak sends Ali shoulder first into the turnbuckles. Gulak wraps the arm in the rope. Gulak with another slam and he gets a near fall. Gulak uses Ali’s arm on a chin lock. Ali with a punch but Gulak with a forearm to the back. Ali with clotheslines and he floats over and does a handspring and hits a drop kick. Ali with running knees into the corner and then he kicks Gulak from the apron.

Ali with the rolling neck breaker and then he goes to the turnbuckles and Gulak catches him but Ali with a rollup for the three count.

Winner: Mustafa Ali

Jack Gallaher walks in the back and Austin Aries tosses him a towel.

Austin says he was watching Jack’s match and he saw what happened at the end. He says it was a tough loss and he knows how it feels. Aries says that he saw Jack trying to be a gentleman and it has not worked. You have Neville, Tony Nese, and TJ Perkins. Maybe there is something working for them and we might need to cut corners.

Jack says he is not comfortable cutting corners.

Aries says Jack has helped him over the last few months and he appreciates it.

Aries suggests that they are international men of mustache.

We see what happened last week on Raw between Neville and Rich Swann.

Rich Swann walks in the back and TJ Perkins is there. Perkins says he was thinking about what Swann said. Perkins says he does not appreciate him accusing him of cutting corners or saying he had a chip on his shoulder. He did not appreciate it happening before his match last week.

Swann says he was not trying to get in Perkins’ head.

Perkins says he knows why Swann did it last week. Tonight it is Swann in the main event and Perkins tells Swann to take care of business.

Akira Tozawa is introduced and gets his entrance music to take a seat next to the announce table.

Match Number Three: Neville versus Rich Swann in a Non Title Match

Swann punches Neville as the bell rings. Neville goes to the floor and then he kicks Swann when Rich re-enters the ring. Neville with a side head lock. Swann with a drop kick and Neville goes to the floor. Swann holds on to Neville’s ear when Neville tries to send Swann off the ropes. Swann with a side head lock. Neville with a punch to the midsection but Swann with a shoulder tackle that bounces Neville off the ropes and Neville takes Swann down. Swann flips over Neville and hits a head scissors and follows with a drop kick. Neville goes to the floor again.

Swann sends Neville into the ring but Neville goes back to the apron. Swann with a drop kick and Neville goes to the floor. Swann is met with a running back elbow after Neville returns to the ring before Swann tries to go to the floor. Neville puts Swann on the turnbuckles and he sets for a superplex. Swann pushes Neville off and Swann kicks Neville to the floor and Swann with a flip dive onto Neville.

Swann gets a near fall and Neville shows some concern. Swann blocks a kick and hits a clothesline. Swann walks over Neville and hits a mule kick. Swann goes for Rolling Thunder but Neville gets his knees up. Neville runs Swann into the ringside barrier. Neville returns to the ring to break the count and he returns to the floor and Neville runs Swann into the ringside barrier again.

They return to the ring and Neville with a rear chin lock. Swann with punches and chops and Neville goes to the floor. Swann with punches but Neville hot shots Swann onto the announce table. Neville rolls Swann back in and Neville goes up top to wait for Neville. Swann collapses to the mat and Neville goes to the mat. Neville grabs Swann by the hair and Swann with a thrust kick and both men are down.

Swann with punches and chops followed by kicks and a round kick to the temple for a near fall. Neville with forearms and Swann with a flying clothesline and then he kicks Neville and hits a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Swann goes to the turnbuckles for the Phoenix Splash but Neville grabs the leg. Swann kicks Neville away and he misses the Phoenix Splash when Neville moves. Neville applies the Ring of Saturn and Swann taps out.

Winner: Neville

We go to credits with Neville standing on the turnbuckles staring at Tozawa.
