Welcome to WWE 205 Live on the WWE Network.

We start off with Drake Maverick running through tonight’s card.  First, Akira Tozawa will face Tony Nese.  Lio Rush will make his 205 Live debut tonight.   He will show if the hype behind his signing was justified in the ring.  The main event will be the Six Man Elimination Tag Match featuring the Lucha House Party against Jack Gallagher, Brian Kendrick, and Drew Gulak.

We are in Ontario, California and your announcers are Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness, and Percy Watson.

Match Number One:  Akira Tozawa versus Tony Nese (with Buddy Murphy)

Tozawa lets out a scream before locking up.  Nese with a clean break and he poses in front of Tozawa.  Tozawa barks at Nese and Nese pie faces Tozawa.  Tozawa pie faces back.  Tozawa with chops and then he gets Nese to flinch and Tozawa with a jab.  Tozawa with boots in the corner.  Tozawa with an Irish whip but Nese with an elbow.  Nese with a matrix to avoids Tozawa followed by kicks and a leg sweep for a near fall.  Nese mocks Tozawa and poses again.

Nese with a chop and a sunset flip but Tozawa rolls through and kicks Nese and follows with a back senton.  Nese goes to the floor and then he avoids a dive by Tozawa.  Tozawa goes for a dive off the apron and Nese catches him.  Nese hot shots Tozwa on the apron and then he hits a clothesline.  Nese gets a near fall when they return to the ring.  Tozawa with a shoulder but Nese with a punch and he gets a near fall.

Nese leaps over the top rope and drops Tozawa on the top rope.  Nese with a double jump moonsault for a near fall.  Nese with a torture rack.  Tozawa gets to his feet but Nese with a chop.  Tozawa with a rana and Shining Wizard.  Tozawa goes to the turnbuckles but Nese goes to the floor.  Tozawa with a suicide dive head butt.  Tozawa goes up top and hits a missile drop kick for a near fall.  Tozawa goes up top and Nese crotches Tozawa.  Nese kicks Tozawa and hits a gutbuster for a near fall.  Nese with kicks in the corner.  Tozawa with a kick and Nese with a forearm.  Nese sets for a German suplex into the turnbuckles but Tozawa with an elbow.  Nese goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Tozawa lands on his feet.  Nese runs into Tozawa’s boots and Tozawa goes up top but Nese with a running European uppercut that knocks the mouthpiece out of Tozawa’s mouth.

Nese sets for a superplex but Tozawa fights him off and Tozawa sends Nese face first to the mat with a super gourdbuster.  Tozawa with the back senton for the three count.

Winner:  Akira Tozawa

We take a look back at highlights from last week’s main event.

Drake Maverick is in his office and Cedric Alexander enters.  Cedric says he is a little restless.  He has been on the sidelines and he wants to know who his next title defense is against.  Drake says that when he knows who his opponent is, he will tell Cedric.  Cedric figures it is Hideo Itami because of his victory last week.  Drake says he is not going to reward bad behavior.  Cedric says he is here to take on all comers to build his legacy.  Hideo is a legend and he can be a bit of a jackass at times.  He says he wants to face Hideo Itami.  Drake says he will consider it.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two:  Lio Rush versus Dewey James

Lio takes his time taking off his watch and the referee holds Dewey back.  Rush offers his hand but it is only to slap James.  Rush runs around James and then he connects with a series of kicks.  Rush kicks James and then he says something to Dewey and Rush avoids a punch.  James is sent to the apron and he hits a handspring kick to send James off the apron.  Rush with a rollup into a spinning round kick.  Rush says it is time and he goes up top and hits a frog splash for the three count.

Winner:  Lio Rush

After the match, Rush is asked about his debut and what can we expect from him.  Lio says the future of the Cruiserweight Division is here.  He says he can do things in the ring that the people in the locker room can only dream of.  They are good, but they are no Lio Rush.  They have no style, no finesse, no presence.  He says he is the man of the hour and that means that every hour is his.  He says 205 Live will feel the rush.

Cedric Alexander is walking in the back and he is asked about challenging Hideo Itami.  Cedric says that Hideo beat Ali and Murphy.  He does not want to avoid any challengers.

Hideo Itami shows up and he says something to Cedric and he pushes Cedric.  They push each other and Drake Maverick shows up and officials hold them back.

Drew Gulak, Jack Gallagher, and Brian Kendrick talk in the back while we see The Lucha House Party getting ready for the match.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Mustafa Ali will face Buddy Murphy in a No Disqualification Match next week.

Match Number Three:  Drew Gulak, Jack Gallagher, and Brian Kendrick versus Kalisto, Lince Dorado, and Gran Metalik in an Elimination Tag Match

Kalisto, Dorado, and Metalik kick Gulak, Gallagher, and Kendrick off the apron and hit planchas before the match starts.

Metalik and Gallagher officially start the match and Metalik with a chop.  Kalisto tags in and he sends Gallagher to the mat with an accordion slam.  Dorado tags in and he sends Kalisto onto Gallagher and then Dorado with a splash.  Metalik tags in and hits a springboard splash off the ropes for a near fall.  Gallagher with an Irish whip but Metalik with a kick and slingblade.  Metalik goes to the ropes and Gulak grabs Metalik.  Gallagher with a head butt as Metalik comes off the ropes for the three count.

Gran Metalik eliminated

Dorado with chops to Kendrick followed by a head scissors.  Dorado is sent to the apron and he kicks Kendrick away.  Gulak tries to interfere but Dorado with a cross body for a near fall.  Dorado knocks Gulak off the apron.  Kendrick crotches Dorado and Gulak grabs the leg.  Kendrick with a back drop off the turnbuckles and then he gets a near fall.  Gulak tags in and he kicks Dorado in the back.  Gulak with a rear chin lock.  Gulak pulls Dorado’s mask off and the referee warns Gulak as Dorado has his mask put back on.

Dorado with an inside cradle on Gulak for a near fall.  Gulak goes for the mask again and Gallagher tags in.  Gallagher with a wrist lock into an arm bar.  Dorado with punches but Gallagher with an arm wringer.  Kendrick tags in and kicks Dorado in the arm.  Kendrick with a knee to the arm followed by an arm bar.  Dorado is sent into the turnbuckles and Kendrick with shoulders.  Gallagher and Gulak attack Dorado while the referee deals with Kalisto and Kendrick.

Kendrick with forearms.  Gulak and Gallagher work over Dorado but Dorado kicks Kendrick.  Kendrick with shoulders in the corner.  Dorado with a handspring cutter on Kendrick for the three count.

Brian Kendrick Eliminated

Gallagher kicks Dorado and chokes him on the apron.  Gallagher with a slam and he gets a near fall.  Gallagher with a knee to the back and Gulak tags in.  Gulak with a punch to the back and he applies an arm bar.  Gallagher with a European uppercut for a near fall.  Gallagher with an arm bar and then he works on the hand.  Gulak tags back in and he connects with a knee to the midsection.

Dorado with a jaw breaker and Gallagher tags in.  Gallagher keeps Dorado from making the tag and Dorado with an enzuigiri but Gulak is tagged in and he punches Dorado to keep Lince from making the tag.  Gulak with chops and punches after Dorado lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt.  Dorado with a spinning heel kick and both men are down.  Kendrick pulls Kalisto off the apron to prevent the tag.  Gulak with the GULock and Dorado taps.

Lince Dorado Eliminated

Kalisto makes his way to the apron and Kalisto with a shoudler and springboard seated splash.  Kalisto with a springboard corkscrew press.  Kalisto with a spike rana for a near fall.  Gallagher pulls Kalisto to the floor.  Gallagher tags in and he runs Kalisto into the apron.  Gallagher with a snap mare and he rakes the eyes with his boots.  Gulak tags in and he slams Kalisto into the ropes.  Gulak gets a near fall.  Gulak with a boot to the chest.

Gulak with a boot to the shoulder.  Gulak gets a near fall.  Kalisto kicks Gallagher and Gulak and then he hits a head scissors that sends Gulak to the floor.  Kalisto with a Listo kick and Salida del Sol to pin Gallagher.

Jack Gallagher Eliminated

We are down to Gulak and Kalisto.

Kalisto kicks Gulak and drop kicks him to the floor.  Kalisto with a hesitation double jump plancha onto Gulak on the floor.  Kalisto with a cross body for a near fall.  Kalisto sets for Salida del Sol but Gulak escapes and he connects with a forearm to the back of the head and then he connects with a clothesline for a near fall.  Gulak with a waist lock and Kalisto goes for Salida del Sol but Gulak blocks it and goes after the mask before applying the GULock and Kalisto taps out.

Winners:  Drew Gulak, Jack Gallagher, and Brian Kendrick

After the match, Drew brings Penelope Gulak into the ring and he throws it into the crowd.
