- Jerry Lawler has been greatly involved in trying to resurrect and assemble what’s left of the old Memphis Wrestling video library. Lawler has been reaching out personally and via intermediaries to people who have masters and/or good quality copies of old Memphis Wrestling TV episodes in an attempt to acquire them. Lawler has apparently a number of DVD vendors that are helping with the search also.

– Former WWE star Duane “Gillberg” Gill turns 55 years old today.

– The latest WWE Inbox features Superstars and Divas talking about which actor or actress would play them in a movie:

    I really hope Lawler is massively successful in accomplishing this. If nothing else, then for his own legacy. He is one of my “Mt. Rushmore” of pro wrestling, and I would hate for so much of his legacy to not be a part of WWE network. He was a true innovator. I’d really love to see him leave WWE and go with GFW, working for Jeff the way he did for Jerry.
