WWE Announces Cable Network, Carlito Hangs Out With Raw Stars

– WWE aired a commercial tonight during Raw Supershow touting the debut of the WWE Channel in 2012. Though WWE has publicly discussed the venture in stockholder conference calls, this was the first public disclosure of the cable network to the viewing audience.

The advertisement featured a wide variety of WWE footage, from the Bruno Sammartino era in the sixties, to today.

– The rating for this past Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, which was a replay from Tuesday’s SuperSmackDown, was delayed due to the Labor Day holiday.

– Carlito, who was released last year by WWE, was seen hanging out with his former colleagues following Friday’s Raw live event in San Juan, Puerto Rico at a nightclub. He was advertised to appear at a World Wrestling Council event on Saturday.
