WWE Classics On Demand’s Fate, Lilian’s Tribute to the Troops

— PWInsider.com has confirmed that WWE Classics On Demand, WWE’s subscription video on demand television service, is being completely shutdown on January 1, 2012. The move was announced to company staffers today.

The move was designed to bolster the strength of the WWE Network when it debuts in April.

WWE has yet to make an official announcement to fans about the service being discontinued, although some cable providers have begun informing subscribers.

— In front of members of the United States military, Lilian Garcia performed a powerful rendition of the National Anthem at Fort Bragg. Footage of the SmackDown Diva’s performance at Tribute to the Troops is available here.

— WWE will hold a Raw live event at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.
