WWE Confirms Philadelphia In The Running To Host Future WrestleMania PPV

WWE confirmed to local Philadelphia media ABC 6 that the city is one of the “many cities” that has expressed interest in hosting a future Wrestlemania. An official announcement for Wrestlemania 31′s location will be made early next year.

One of the venues WWE would be interested in would be Lincoln Financial Field, the home of the Philadelphia Eagles. The city is also a candidate for Wrestlemania 32 in 2016, in addition to the being a candidate for Wrestlemania 31 in 2015.

WWE responded to ABC 6 with the following statement:

“Philadelphia is one of the many cities that has expressed an interest in hosting a future WrestleMania. An announcement regarding WrestleMania 31 will be made early next year.”
