Latest On The 2014 WWE Hall Of Fame; Who Are The Next Rumored Names To Be Announced?

wwe-hof2013

As PWMania.com has been covering, Scott Hall has been teasing fans, through his official Twitter account, that he may be the next inductee into the WWE Hall Of Fame class of 2014. He hinted that The Ultimate Warrior, Jake Roberts, Lita and he have all been verified on Twitter around the same time (Hall has been trying to get his Twitter account verified ever since he joined Twitter).

It seems that Hall will be inducted or be featured, in someway. He has been pulled from his scheduled appearance at the WrestleCon event in New Orleans, which takes place the same day as the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.

With WWE set to announce a new WWE Hall of Fame inductee, Scott Hall seems to be the favorite, which have brought rumors of the nWo being inducted. Other strong favorites to be going into the Hall Of Fame this year are: the late Paul Bearer, Mr. T, Cyndi Lauper and the WrestleMania 1 main event.

  • Mordecai

Inducting WM 1 main event is silly.

    • CLaZ

Far less than, say, Drew Carey?

      • Mordecai

At least he’s able to get up to the stadium and give a quick speech. Oh wait …. Hogan and Piper.

  • Jeff Johnson

I think Scott is deserving of going in. I know he didn’t really do a whole lot for the WWE, but he was a vital piece of the Monday Night Wars and helped wrestling become as big as it was during that era.

  • Mr Slippyfist

    Still no mention of Savage…

    • CLaZ

My guess is next year he will be the main name (first one inducted). They are going for a sort of “misfit” group this year, and I personally think they should wait and make him the headline name next year.

    • Brien Bradley

Lanny Poffo, “The Genius” aka Savages brother, has said the family wont allow Randy in unless the whole family gets inducted. Savage refused induction a few times while he was alive, for who know what reason, but now his brother is holding up the process.

  • Barack Lesnar

WWE Hall of Fame is a joke. Johnny Rodz, who only won 1 match that I can remember, is a member of the HOF.

    • MWS

Yeah, but Johnny Rodz trained some legendary people, such as Team 3D.

  • gary johnson

I think Scott should be in the hall of fame…Scott and Shawn did have the first ladder match in wwe and I feel if it was for that match they would not be the same today…..The nwo was one of the best groups of the 90s and the nwo would be right without Scott…

    • sanman78

Johhy Rodz is in for training… Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels had a ladder match in ’92…Hall deserves a spot and if you are ever doubting he goes in…Koko B Ware is in but Lou Thesz is not

  • Philip DiPace

I think Scott Hall should probably either go in as a group with the n.W.o. faction, or as part of a main event, for his ladder match with HBK. It’d draw attention away from his personal issues & focus solely on his in-ring accolades. I’d also like to see Bam Bam Bigelow inducted posthumously.

  • lori giordano

i say randy savage deserves it scott hall is still alive and has his chance randy was wonderful but we loss him.

  • dr. noel

Macho Man already. Do it WWE!

  • badzd

    Please put the nwo in

  • 315fedowl

Scott Hall should have been inducted years ago.

  • Drew Chadwick

Fuck Scott Hall. Induct the Freebirds motherfuckers.

  • Anthony Hermon

I think Randy Savage will be next in the Hall of Fame 2014.
