WWE Head Writer Leaving The Company This Week
David Kreizman, who is a head writer for WWE, is leaving WWE this week. Before joining World Wrestling Entertainment back in March, Kreizman was an award-winning soap opera TV writer.
Kreizman is the third head writer to leave company this year. This points to WWE’s Creative structure being unlike any other TV production company. New writers either find a way to adjust to WWE standards or they just leave the company.
WWE posted a job listing on June 12th for a new Head Writer, which reads:
“The Head Writer/Producer will be responsible for the creative content and scripts of all television content. He/She will manage a team of writers who will produce compelling content for broadcast.”
Responsibilities include “manage a team of home-based writers to build compelling stories that capture the audience and generate buzz.” Plus, “Consistently improve and refine storylines.”
WWE also posted another job listing on May 29th for a Raw and Smackdown lead writer to try to re-build the next layer of the Creative Team.
