WWE Legends Return On RAW 1000 As Lita Defeats Heath Slater
Howard Finkel appeared on the 1000th episode of Raw as the guest ring announcer for Heath Slater’s open challenge to a no-disqualification, no count-out match against Lita. Lita said that she hired some protection, John “Bradshaw” Layfield and Ron Simmons, also known as APA.
When Slater tried to leave, all the past legends that faced Slater in recent weeks leading to the 1000th episode of Monday Night Raw returned to bring him back to the ring for Lita to beat him. Legends featured Sgt. Slaughter, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, DDP, Road Warrior Animal, Vada, Sid Vicious, Rikishi, Doink the Clown and Bob Backlund.
