WWE Looking To Bring In NBA Stars For WrestleMania

With the NBA basketball season all but cancelled at this point due to the lockout situation between the players association and the team owners, there has been talk in WWE about getting a big name NBA star to work an angle at WrestleMania 28.

Both Lebron James and Shaquille O’Neal have worked with WWE before in the past and there’s a good chance WWE will go after one of them if the NBA season does get cancelled.

Also related to the NBA lockout – there has been strong interest from big city arenas to host more WWE events over the next year to make up for the lost revenue due to the lack of NBA games. Madison Square Garden in particular is pushing for more live events in the coming months.
