WWE Main Event Results – February 19, 2014

The show opens and we head to the ring, where Sin Cara makes his entrance to team with Los Matadores against The Shield.

Sin Cara and Los Matadores w/ El Torito vs. The Shield

Dean Ambrose starts the match with Fernando. They lock up and start the match with some chain wrestling until Fernando jumps backwards from the second rope to hit an elbow. Diego is tagged in and takes down Ambrose. He then monkey flips Ambrose from the corner. Ambrose tags in Rollins who runs into a series of arm drags. Sin Cara tags in. Sin Cara hits a huge arm drag from the top rope on Rollins. Diego comes back in and then tags in Fernando for a double team move. Rollins fights back and sends Fernando into the second turnbuckle. Reigns is tagged in and immediately takes control of Fernando. Ambrose is tagged back in who begins to beat down Fernando. He goes for a cover and gets a two-count. Ambrose takes Fernando to the corner and tags in Rollins. Rollins keeps Fernando grounded and then picks him up. He irish whips him hard into the corner and then follows it up with the same maneuver. Rollins goes for the irish whip again, but is sent into the corner hard. Sin Cara is tagged in and quickly hits a series of fast-paced moves. Rollins rolls out of the ring and is hit with a suicide dive. Sin Cara throws Rollins back in the ring and climbs to the top rope. Rollins hits him with a kick on the top turnbuckle. Ambrose is tagged in and hits a huge double-underhook suplex from the top rope. Sin Cara rolls to the apron, but is hit with a dropkick on the apron by the freshly tagged Reigns. We go to commercial.

Back from commercial and Ambrose has control of Sin Cara. Ambrose goes to a hold on a grounded Sin Cara. They get up and Sin Cara fights back with a handspring back-elbow to Ambrose. Rollins is tagged in and quickly stops Sin Cara from making the tag. Rollins hits three suplexes on Sin Cara and gets a two-count. He drags Sin Cara to the Shield’s corner and tags in Reigns. Reigns grounds Sin Cara and goes to a hold. Sin Cara fights back but is hit with a huge clothesline. Reigns goes for the cover, but gets a two-count. Ambrose is tagged in and beats down Sin Cara. Rollins is tagged back in and hits a back drop. Rollins hits a running forearm on Sin Cara in the corner, goes for the pin, but gets a two count. Rollins goes to a hold on Sin Cara. Sin Cara is irish-whipped but reverses for a pin. Sin Cara kicks out and Rollins makes the tag to Reigns. Reigns prevents a tag by hitting Fernando to the floor. Sin Cara hits a Tornado DDT. Ambrose and Diego are both tagged in with Diego hitting a flurry of moves on Ambrose. Diego goes to the top rope and ends up hitting Reigns off of the apron. Ambrose rolls him up for two. Diego hits a Codebreaker on Ambrose and follows it up with a top rope move. Rollins and Ambrose are tossed to the floor with El Torito coming off the top rope onto Rollins. Ambrose grabs El Torito but is hit by Diego, flying from out of the ring. Reigns hits a double-spear on Sin Cara and Fernando. Diego comes back into the ring and is hit by a Superman Punch from Reigns while Ambrose held him up. Ambrose tags in Rollins who hits the Blackout, then goes for the pin and gets the three count.

Winners: The Shield

We go to Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton and ringside who hype the WWE Network. A promo for the WWE Network is shown displaying original programming on the network.

Coming up is Kofi Kingston vs. Curtis Axel. We go to commercial break.

Back from commercial and a promo is shown for the Friday’s SmackDown for a match between Sheamus and Christian. Back to the ring where Aksana is in the ring ready for action. Cameron’s music hits and she heads to the ring. We see a video package featuring Cameron.

Aksana w/ Alicia Fox vs. Cameron

Aksana knocks Cameron off the apron during her entrance. The bell rings and Aksana throws Cameron across the ring. Cameron rolls to the floor. She gets back in and is thrown to the mat by Aksana. Aksana chokes her with her knee on the middle rope. Aksana then goes to hold. They get to their feet, but Aksana throws Cameron to the ground. Aksana charges Cameron in the corner, but Cameron moves. Cameron takes control and sends Aksana into the middle rope with a drop toe hold. Cameron rolls out and strikes Aksana in the face. Alicia Fox distracts Cameron, but is hit with slap. Aksana accidentally knocks down Fox and is then hit with a series of moves from Cameron. Aksana pushes Cameron into the corner and then hits a backbreaker. Aksana says “that’s it” and goes to the suplex position. Cameron rolls her up for a pin and gets the three-count for the win.

Winner: Cameron

Coming up next is a statement from Triple H. We go to commercial.

Back from commercial where the announcers introduce the Elimination Chamber match. A video package illustrating the chamber match airs. We go to Michael Cole interviewing HHH. Cole asks if there’s any truth to Kane being sent to weaken Daniel Bryan before the chamber match. HHH dodges the question and describes Bryan as an underdog. HHH says that the Authority is prepared to make the winner of the match the “face of the WWE.” Cole asks HHH if he truly means anyone. HHH says yes while doing Bryan’s finger and arm gesture.

Bad News Barrett comes out for a segment. Barrett reminds everyone that the USA is on track for its worst medal count since 1988. We go to commercial.

Back from commercial and Kofi’s music hits. He heads to the ring. Curtis Axel then comes to the ring, accompanied by Ryback. They advertise Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel for the Elimination Chamber pre-show match.

Kofi Kingston vs. Curtis Axel

Ryback distracts Kofi and Axel takes advantage. Axel kicks Kofi in the corner. He sends Kofi to the ropes and hits him with a dropkick. Axel picks Kofi up and whips him to the corner. Kofi jumps to the ropes and hits a dropkick. He follows it up with a series of moves and then hits the Boom Drop. Kofi sets up Trouble In Paradise but Axel rolls out of the ring and talks to Ryback. Axel gets onto to the apron while Ryback does the same. They both begin to get into the ring but Mark Henry’s music hits and Henry heads to the ring. We go to commercial.

Back from commercial and Kofi is beating down Axel in the corner. Henry is in Kofi’s corner. Kofi continues to beat on Axel by kicking his legs out from under him. Kofi twists Axel’s arm but is reversed to the mat. Axel hits the ropes but Kofi takes him down. Kofi hits Axel with a series of punches in the corner. Kofi charges Axel but is hit with a boot. Axel then hits a huge clothesline to the back of the neck of Kofi. Axel then hits a knee to the face. Axel goes to the crossface on Kofi. Kofi fights back and goes for a dropkick out of the corner. Axel catches his legs and sends him to the outside. Ryback goes to Kofi on the floor but Henry cuts him off. Axel goes to the outside and throws Kofi back into the ring. He goes for the pin and gets two. Axel goes to the second rope but misses the elbow. Kofi hits a unique kick through the ropes in the corner. Kofi then hits a series of moves on Axel, culminating in a crossbody from the top rope. Kofi is reversed into a backdrop from Axel. He goes for the pin but only gets two. Axel throws Kofi to the ropes but Kofi reverses and sends Axel out of the ring. Kofi goes for a splash out of the ring, but Ryback holds his leg on the other side of the ring. Axel is disqualified.

Winner: Kofi Kingston (Disqualification)

Ryback hits the ring and attacks Kofi, but Henry comes in and hits Ryback with a clothesline and tosses him out of the ring. Kofi then hits a huge front-flip dive out of the ring onto both Axel and Ryback. Kofi celebrates in the ring with Henry as the show goes off the air.
