We are back and we are told that Bobby Roode will be on next week’s show.

Samoa Joe makes his way to the ring.

Joe says upon his arrival he was informed that our General Manager William Regal has decided it will be him defending the NXT Title against Shinsuke Nakamura at Takeover Brooklyn. Unfortunately, due to some oversight by not consulting with him first, that match will not be happening. Shinsuke Nakamura is an undeserving contender. Shinsuke Nakamura has not done what he did to win this championship and he is not material to be number one contender. When it comes to Takeover Brooklyn, he will not be facing Shinsuke Nakamura.

William Regal’s music plays and he makes his way onto the stage. He tells Joe he has heard enough. He tells Joe that he may be the champion, but Regal reminds Joe he is in charge. He says that his decision is final and Joe will fight who he wants him to fight.

Joe reminds Regal that he made Joe jump through every hoop to get an opportunity to win the championship. Nakamura has not done that. Joe tells Regal he will give him a chance to correct this disrespect. He suggests that they go to Regal’s office to determine a real and deserving challenger that he approves.

Regal tells Joe that if you refuse to fight, he will consider it a forfeit and he will find someone to face Nakamura for the NXT Championship.

Joe says he will hand Regal nothing. He wants to know if how this is going to work. If you want the match, you’ve got the match. He tells Regal this is the biggest mistake you have made. Joe reminds Regal he decimated Regal’s boy Finn Balor and at Takeover, he will do the same. That is unless he sees Shinsuke beforehand because he might not make it to Brooklyn.

Shinsuke Nakamura makes his way onto the stage. Nakamura looks through his periscope of invisibility at Joe and does not look intimidated at all.

We go to credits.
