Cole is interrupted by Ricochet.

Ricochet tells Adam he owes him an apology.  You did not run from your competition.  Granted, you did have a non title match against a guy whose name you can’t remember.  Since joining NXT, you have taken this industry by storm.  Since becoming champion, the man who claims to Shock the System, all you have done is shockingly become a coward.  Ricochet tells Cole he can change his opinion because you are so good.

How about we have a match.  How about you have a match for the NXT North American Championship.  How about having a match for the NXT North American Championship in Brooklyn . . . against him.  Unless Ricochet says he is right about Cole, bay bay.

Cole says that Ricochet is right.  He is so so good.  Cole says that is why he will not diminish himself by fighting Ricochet in Brooklyn.

Cole leaves the ring.

Ricochet tells Cole that is okay because Cole is the coward that he thought he was.

We are told that Shayna Baszler and Kairi Sane have signed their contract for the NXT Women’s Championship Match at NXT Brooklyn.

Shayna Baszler says this is not a rematch because she has beaten Kairi since last year.  Shayna is not the same person she was last year.  Shayna says she has the killer instinct while Kairi does not.  Kairi is living off the past because she has not done anything since.

Sane signs the contract without saying anything.

Sane says she knows it and Shayna knows it.  Kairi says she can beat Shayna.

Shayna says that Kairi does not have what it takes.  You are living in a fantasy world like the others pretending they have what it takes.  Dakota and Candice pretend that they have what it takes.  You are acting like a pirate pretending that you are looking for treasure.

Kairi says that she will beat Shayna in Brooklyn.

Shayna signs the contract and she tells Kairi that she does not have to listen to her now, but you have to listen to her in Brooklyn because you will hear ‘And still . . . your NXT Women’s Champion’.

Shayna leaves the room and Kairi tells William Regal that she knows it and Shayna knows that Kairi can beat her.
