WWE NXT Results – June 5, 2014

Last week was NXT Takeover and we saw Adrian Neville retain the NXT Championship against Tyson Kidd. We also saw Charlotte become the second NXT Women’s Champion. A number one contender was determined last week. Will Tyler Breeze tell us when he is going to challenge Adrian Neville for his title? What will happen tonight?

We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are Tom ‘Not Byron’ Phillips, Byron ‘Not Tom’ Saxton, and William ‘Voice of WWE’ Regal.

Eden lets us know that Tyler Breeze has entered the building.

Mojo is in the Goldman Box and he says that when he gets knocked down, he gets back up because he does not get Hyped, he stays HYPED.

Aiden English comes out and he serenades Mojo and calls him a sideshow folly. He sings that Mojo let down the USA.

Match Number One: Mojo Rawley versus Aiden English

English tries to stay away from Rawley but Rawley blocks a kick and hits a clothesline. Rawley with a Stinger Splash into the corner followed by a second one. English with a clothesline. English with a kick to the back of Rawley. English with a knee to the midsection followed by a swinging neck breaker for a near fall. English sends Rawley into the turnbuckles.

English punches Rawley in the midsection and then he kicks Rawley in the head and gets a near fall. English with a reverse chin lock. Rawley gets back to his feet and English escapes a slam and he sends Rawley into the corner. Rawley with a boot and then he pushes English out of the corner. Rawley with a running shoulder tackle and then he throws English into the turnbuckles and then he hits a leaping butt bump and Hyperdrive for the three count.

Winner: Mojo Rawley

We take a look at the situation with Tyson Kidd and his frustration over his loss to Adrian Neville. We see Tyson walk off the Fallout Show set after Takeover.

Devin Taylor asks Natalya about Takeover and Tyson’s behavior. Natalya says that she was proud of her husband and she says that she will always have his back.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Bayley versus Charlotte (with Sasha Banks) in a Non Title Match

They lock up and Charlotte with a side head lock and she takes Bayley to the mat. Charlotte with a shoulder tackle and then she blocks a hip toss. Bayley with a Japanese arm drag but Charlotte with an Irish whip. Bayley with an elbow and then she hits an arm drag and does a float over into a front face lock.

Charlotte with a knee to the midsection followed by a clothesline. Charlotte gets a near fall. Charlotte mocks Bayley and gets a near fall. Charlotte with a knee to the ribs and she hits another one. Charlotte with a snap mare and a figure four head scissors. Charlotte rolls Bayley over and gets a near fall. Bayley with a double leg take down and she punches Charlotte. Bayley with a few double sledges to Charlotte followed by a running shoulder into the corner.

Bayley with a double jump elbow and she tries for a baseball slide on Sasha but Sasha moves. Bayley takes care of Sasha on the floor. Bayley with an elbow from the second turnbuckle for a near fall. Charlotte with a knee to the midsection and Summer Rae’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring.

Charlotte gets distracted while Summer hugs Sasha. Bayley tries for a backslide but Charlotte rolls through and kicks Bayley in the knees before hitting Bow Down to the Queen for the three count.

Winner: Charlotte

After the match, Summer joins Sasha and Charlotte in the ring and they attack Bayley. Paige and Emma make their way to the ring and Charlotte, Sasha, and Summer leave the ring.

Tye Dillington and Jason Jordan are in the interview area and they practice their entrance song. We go to commercial.

We are back with an Ascension video package featuring their victory at NXT Takeover against Kalisto and El Local.

Match Number Three: Tye Dillinger and Jason Jordan versus Stuart Cumberland and Phillip Gouljar

Cumberland and Jordan start off and Jordan with a wrist lock. Jordan and Cumberland exchange waist locks and Jordan with a take down and he holds on to the waist lock. Jordan picks up Cumberland and Dillinger tags in. Dillinger with a chop and he sends him into the turnbuckles. Dillinger with a chop in the corner. Dillinger tries for another chop but Cumberland stops him, but that is only momentarily because Dillinger with another chop.

Jordan tags back in and he kicks Cumberland and tags Dillinger back in. Dillinger with a wrist lock and Irish whip. Cumberland with an elbow and Dillinger blocks a kick but Gouljar with a forearm. Dillinger works over Gouljar and Jordan tags back in. Jordan sends Phillip into the turnbuckles. Jordan with a front face lock.

Jordan with a slam followed by a leaping knee drop. Jordan sends Phillip into the turnbuckles and Dillinger tags back in. Jordan with a slam and Dillinger with a knee drop. Phillip with a knee to the midsection and he tags in Cumberland. Cumberland with kicks and punches. Gouljar tags back in and they double team Dillinger.

Dillinger with a kick and chop. Phillip with an Irish whip followed by a forearm to the kidneys. Gouljar with more punches to Dillinger and Cumberland tags back in. Stuart with kicks to Dillinger and Phillip tags back in. Phillip with a kick but Dillinger with a kick and Jordan tags in and connects with clotheslines followed by a back body drop and then Dillinger with a super kick to Cumberland. Jordan with a shoulder in the corner followed by an Olympic Slam for the three count.

Winners: Tye Dillinger and Jason Jordan

After the match, CJ Parker is shown in the crowd with his silent protest.

We go to the locker room and Charlotte does not seem so happy to see Summer’s return. Summer mentions that she has been on Total Divas and in Hollywood. She talks about how she has been putting the BFFs on the map. Summer sees her likeness on the stick and is impressed.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Tyler Breeze makes his way to the ring.

Tyler says that it is time for your weekly dose of the King of Cuteville and the Definition of Delish. He is the number one contender. At Takeover, he took over when he beat Seth Rogan’s less good looking little brother Sami Zayn. He is on his way to the NXT Championship.

Tyler says that the NXT Title is so pristine, it should only be worn by someone who is gorgeous. That is him. Now, he is in control because he can choose when he wants that match. Until that time, he will let the Man Who Maybeline forgot on his toes. Tonight is a special night, it is time to see the 3 Time MTV Euro Award Winning Video.

The fans appear to like the video and Tyler starts to cry.

We are back and Tom mentions the end of Bo Dallas’ time in NXT after his loss to Big E.

Match Number Four: Justin Gabriel versus Adrian Neville in a Non Title Match

They lock up and Neville backs Gabriel into the corner and Neville with a clean break. They lock up again and Gabriel with a waist lock but Neville with a standing switch and take down. Gabriel with an arm bar but Neville escapes. They have a test of strength and Neville with a wrist lock and arm bar. Gabriel with a wrist lock and fireman’s carry into an arm bar.

Gabriel with a shoulder tackle. Neville with a head scissors that sends Gabriel to the floor. Neville goes for a dive to the floor but Gabriel recovers and clotheslines Neville. Gabriel sends Neville to the floor and he misses a dive. Neville with a cannonball off the apron. Neville rolls Gabriel back in and he gets a near fall.

Neville with an arm bar as we go to commercial.

We are back and Gabriel with a chop but Neville with forearms. Gabriel with a forearm of his own. Gabriel with an Irish whip and running forearm into the corner followed by a snap mare and kick to the back. Gabriel gets a near fall. Gabriel with a suplex and he rolls through into a guillotine choke with the arms butterflied. Gabriel with a side head lock and Neville with forearms.

Neville with a flying forearm and an forearm followed by a back heel kick and spinning back kicks. Neville with a running kick to the temple and then he goes to the turnbuckles. Neville with a missile drop kick and he gets a near fall. Neville tries for a tornado DDT but Gabriel holds on and hits a package Northern Lights suplex for a near fall.

Gabriel goes for a German suplex but Neville blocks it. Neville with elbows but Gabriel with an elbow of his own. Gabriel misses a quebrada when Neville moves. Neville goes for a springboard move but Gabriel with a drop kick to counter and he gets a near fall.

Gabriel goes up top for the 450 splash but Neville moves. Neville with a kick to the head and then he hits a hesitation drop kick into the corner. Neville rolls Gabriel into position for Red Arrow and the three count.

Winner: Adrian Neville

After the match, Neville celebrates in the ring and Tyson Kidd makes his way to the ring.

Tyson tells Adrian that the truth is that after his actions at NXT Takeover, he deserves that. He fells like a fool for the way he reacted after their match. They went to war for nearly 30 minutes and then Adrian offered his hand and he blew him off. Man to man, he is truly sorry. Tyson says that Adrian did beat him. The next time they get in the ring together, he will beat him. That is a fact. He wants one more chance at this NXT Championship.

Tyson offers his hand to Adrian and Adrian takes the mic. Adrian asks Tyson if they want to do this one more time for the NXT Title? Adrian says that he has it.

Tyson shakes his hand and he leaves the ring.
