WWE NXT Results – October 14, 2015

We begin this week’s show with a look back at last week’s NXT Takeover Respect Show.

We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are Rich Brennan, Corey Graves, and Byron Saxton.

Bayley makes her way to the ring and she is going to talk about her match from last week against Sasha Banks.

The crowd chants ‘Match of the Year’ before Bayley starts talking.

She says that last week at NXT Takeover Respect, they made history. It was not just her match, but the entire show. It was about respect. From the Dusty Rhodes Tournament, a man who had a lot to do with her career and Sasha’s and where they are. Being in the main event was something she dreamt about since she was a kid and the same for Sasha.

She says they started something special and something real. They started a whole new level of the Divas Revolution. Bayley says they want women’s wrestling to be respected. The NXT Women’s division looks like the future has been validated.

Alexa Bliss comes out with Buddy Murphy and Wesley Blake.

Alexa tells Bayley that what she accomplished last week was incredible. She says she was in total awe. Nobody deserves to be champ more than you. Alexa says that is all she had. She knows that Bayley had a crazy week and she wanted to tell Bayley that she is an incredible champion.

She says that Bayley is right, the future for the women of NXT has no limit. Alexa says that she is so happy to share it with her.

Alexa raises Bayley’s arm and then takes the NXT Women’s Title Belt. Blake and Murphy get between Alexa and Bayley.

Alexa tells Bayley they won’t be sharing this. She did not write letters to herself at ten years old, but she wants the title. People like you are not meant to be the champion. It is going to be a lot easier when she takes it from you for real.

Alexa tosses the title belt back to Bayley.

We go to comments from Samoa Joe and Finn Balor after their victory but William Regal interrupts and congratulates them for winning the tournament. Finn says it was a very emotional night and they could not be happier or prouder of their win. Joe says it was a pleasure and honor to team with Finn, but Joe says he could have gone about this many different ways.

Joe says he has been undefeated in NXT and he came here for one reason and he wants a title match.

Finn says that he is a fighting champion and he has a match.

Regal says that we have been focusing on the Tag Title Classic so we do not have a number one contender for the NXT Title. Next week, there will be a battle royal to determine the number one contender.

Joe says with all due respect, he has left no doubt. He has beaten everyone and he deserves this shot.

Regal says that we are going to have the battle royal next week and the winner will be the Number One Contender.

Joe says that it looks like he has to win a battle royal and he will face Finn.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Tye Dillinger says that there will be twenty-two other men to compete to see who will face Finn Balor for the NXT Title. There can only be one contender. There can only be one winner. There can only be one perfect ten.

Apollo Crews says tonight is the battle royal to determine the number one contender. The winner faces Finn Balor. Since Day One, he has said that he will become the champion. Tonight he will become the number one contender and then he will become the NXT Champion.

Rhyno says tonight everyone is talking about becoming the new number one contender. In his mind, he has already won. He was the face of a revolution. He was the last ECW champion. Tonight when he wins the battle royal, he will become one step closer to becoming the face of a new revolution as the new NXT Champion.

Match Number One: Aiden English and Simon Gotch versus Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton in a Non Title Match

English and Dawkins start things off. They lock up and Dawkins with a wrist lock. English rolsl through and reverses the wrist lock and turns it into an arm bar. Dawkins backs English into the corner. English floats over on an Irish whip and he connects with a Japanese arm drag into an arm bar and pose. Dawkins tries to Irish whip English into his corner but English with a forearm to Fulton on the apron followed by another forearm to Dawkins and one more to Fulton.

Dawkins with a punch that sends English into the ropes. Dawkins with kicks and Fulton tags in and he punches and kicks English. Dawkins tags back in and he punches English and English goes down. Dawkins with kicks and Fulton tags in. Dawkins with a slam and Fulton goes to the turnbuckles and hits an elbow drop for a near fall. Fulton with a reverse chin lock.

Fulton tries for a belly-to-back suplex but English lands on his feet. Fulton misses a splash into the corner and Dawkins tags in and misses a splash into the corner. Gotch tags in and he connects with forearms followed by a head butt to the midsection followed by knees and a series of kicks to the head. Gotch with a forearm into the corner and a Saito Regalplex. English tags in and Gotch with the European uppercut to the back of the head followed by the Whirling Dervish and the three count.

Winners: Simon Gotch and Aiden English

Devin Taylor is in the interview area with Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. Devin says that was an impressive victory by the champions. Dash asks Scott if he thought that was an impressive victory. Scott says it was impressive to the untrained eye, like Devin. He asks Devin what did she think about their victory over the Vaudevillains in Austin during the Dusty Rhodes Classic.

Dash says that if you do the math . . . they are THE number one contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championships. Scott says that they are the rightful holders of the tag team titles right now. The cards they have been dealt are Enzo and Cass. He tells Devin to tell Enzo and Cass that they are plain, simple, and direct. When they render a body part useless, they completely tear apart their anatomy. He wants Devin to ask them ‘How They Doin’. Dash says that you can’t teach that.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we take a look at Asuka’s in ring debut at NXT Takeover Respect against Dana Brooke.

We see what happened to Dana after the match when Emma checked on Dana with the medical staff.

Asuka stops by as well and she pats Dana on the top of the head. Asuka stares at Emma and smiles before walking away.

Dana says that she beat Asuka while Emma tries to reassure her.

Match Number Two: Evie versus Nia Jax

Nia tries to back Evie into the corner before they lock up and Nia sends Evie to the mat. Nia misses a clothesline and Evie with a clothesline that does not move Nia. Nia with a bear hug on Evie but Evie with an elbow and she tries for a sunset flip. Nia does not go over and she picks up Evie and sends her into the corner and hits a splash.

Nia with a hip strike to the head. Nia grabs Evie by the hair and Evie with kicks. Nia grabs Evie and hits a spine buster for the three count.

Winner: Nia Jax

We take a look at highlights from the Iron Man Match with a look at comments from people after the match and the way that social media reacted.

Tyler Breeze says if anyone deserves an opportunity at the NXT Title, it is him. You are looking at the new number one contender.

Baron Corbin says that when it is all said and done, there will be one man standing. It will be the Lone Wolf, your new number one contender.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Eva Marie is in Paris and she says that she is sorry that she could not be there. After all of her grueling action in the ring, she decided to have some real time. She says that she misses everyone and she hopes that everyone misses her. She says she will be back soon.

Match Number Three: Number One Contender Battle Royal featuring Baron Corbin, Apollo Crews, Samoa Joe, Tyler Breeze, Rhyno, Buddy Murphy, Wesley Blake, Mojo Rawley, Zack Ryder, Danny Burch, Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Colin Cassady, Enzo Amore, Tye Dillinger, Dash Wilder, Scott Dawson, Bull Dempsey, Elias Sampson, Steve Cutler, and Riddick Moss

The bell rings and Joe is the focus of many of the wrestlers. Corbin and Rhyno try to eliminate Joe with help from Dawson and Wilder. Rawley with punches. Crews fights to stay in the ring. Corbin sends Joe to the apron and he holds on to the ropes to stay in the match while Rhyno, Dawson, Wilder, and Corbin work on him. Joe with jabs to everyone and he gets back into the ring.

Dawson and Rhyno continue to work over Joe. Corbin with a knee to Rawley. Ryder with a forearm and he tries to eliminate someone. Gargano holds on to the ropes after being sent over the top rope. Bull works over Breeze.

Joe with chops to Dawson and punches followed by a head butt. Corbin hits Rawley from behind while Dempsey works on Dawson. Crews eliminates Steve Cutler for the first elimination of the match. Burch with European uppercuts to Crews but Crews eliminates Burch. Elias Sampson is eliminated as well.

Gargano is picked up by Crews and Crews throws Gargano onto the already eliminated wrestlers and Gargano is eliminated.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Rawley works over Murphy while Blake goes after Rawley. Murphy gets Enzo over the top rope but he lands on the apron and rolls back into the ring. Dawson holds on to the ropes while Murphy was sent over the top rope but was saved. Joe has Blake hanging in the corner while Rawley picks up Corbin. Corbin with an elbow to Rawley.

Dawson has Enzo hanging over the top rope but Ryder makes the save. Wilder saves Dawson and they pick up Ryder. Murphy and Blake join in and they get him over the top rope but Ryder returns to the ring. Breeze is choked by Dillinger. Cassady punches Riddick Moss and sends him over the top rope to the apron. Cassady with a boot to knock Moss off the apron and eliminate him.

Cassady is eliminated by Dawson and Wilder but Enzo eliminates Dawson and Wilder. Dillinger eliminates Enzo and then Bull with jabs to Dillinger. Bull with the stomach bump and he eliminates Dillinger.

Corbin and Dempsey exchange punches and Dempsey has Corbin over the top rope but Rhyno makes the save and punches Bull and eliminates Bull. Blake works over Rawley and Corbin joins in and Rawley is eliminated. Rhyno punches Joe from behind. Ryder with a forearm to Corbin and punches. Rhyno punches Ryder from behind. Rhyno kicks Joe in the corner while Ciampa works over Crews.

Blake and Murphy work over Breeze. Ciampa with knees to Crews in the corner. Corbin punches Ryder. Murphy is sent over the top but he stays in. Blake and Murphy have Breeze over the top rope but Breeze stays in. Ciampa punches Rhyno. Ryder goes to the turnbuckles and Corbin stops him and Ryder is eliminated.

Rhyno wants to know who is next while Ciampa has Joe in the ropes and Crews is worked over by Blake and Murphy. Joe with jabs to Ciampa and Corbin eliminates Rhyno. Joe and Ciampa continue to exchange punches.

We go to commercial.

We are back and the people remaining in the match are Tyler Breeze, Apollo Crews, Baron Corbin, Buddy Murphy, Wesley Blake, and Samoa Joe. It appears that Tommaso Ciampa was eliminated during the commercial break.

Crews punches Murphy while Corbin kicks Blake. We see how Ciampa was eliminated by Samoa Joe. Corbin has Breeze in the corner but Breeze lands on the apron. Joe with a back drop to eliminate Blake and Murphy.

Corbin punches Crews while Joe is hit with a super kick in the corner by Breeze. Crews tries to eliminate Corbin while Breeze focuses on Joe. Breeze punches Joe but Joe punches back. Breeze with punches but Joe blocks a super kick and Joe with punches and slaps. Breeze runs into an STJoe and Joe with a running boot to knock Breeze over the top rope to the floor to eliminate him. Corbin punches Joe but Joe chops Corbin. Crews with a splash to Corbin but Joe with an enzuigiri to Crews. Joe tries for a muscle buster on Corbin but Corbin gets to his feet. Joe with a kick to Corbin but Breeze pulls Joe off the apron to eliminate him.

We are down to the final two men and it is Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews. Corbin runs Crews into the corner and Crews does the same to Corbin. Corbin with a knee and punch. Crews punches back. They go back and forth until Crews gains the advantage. Corbin with a spinebuster and he punches Crews.

Corbin sends Crews over the top rope but Crews rolls back in. Corbin kicks Crews. Corbin sends Crews over the top rope again but Crews lands on the apron and rolls back into the ring. Corbin with a punch to Crews. Crews escapes a choke slam attempt and Crews with a series of clotheslines followed by a Stinger Splash. Crews with a flying clothesline and he goes for the standing moonsault but Corbin gets his knees up.

Crews with an enzuigiri and then he hits a second one. Crews with a third and Corbin staggers around the ring. Crews with a clothesline to eliminate Corbin.

Winner: Apollo Crews

We go to credits.
