rey-mysterio4

- WWE officials are not happy with Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio right now for working with the AAA promotion in Mexico. – WWE’s shop website is running a Buy 1 Get 1 50% off sale with the code “TSHIRT50″ until 3am EST.

– WWE has released a new Cameron t-shirt in time for Total Divas. More new Divas merchandise is rumored to be released soon.

They are racists. No black wwe champ. There’s been black world heavyweight champs but no wwe champ. The rock doesn’t count.

    • Sandman

blame bobby Lashley for that im of the very strong opinion he would have been the first if he didn’t choose to leave for a mma career he would have been the champ
just out of curiosity can you name a top 5 of people that could have been the WWE champ of black skin that were employed under the WWE since 2000

      • Illy Ill

Booker T (WHC, not WWE though)
R-Truth (If they built it better in his match V Cena at Capitol Punishment)
Kofi (After the feud with Orton)
Mark Henry (Possibility after the feud with Batista or Taker)
Lashley (If he didn’t want to try MMA)

        • Illy Ill

Also, Shelton Benjamin (If he pushed for the main belt instead of sitting at IC Level), and MVP

        • bakayaro_konoyaro666

Booker, shelton benjamin, mark henry, mvp, marcus cor von

          • http://wrestlingfan.net RReigns121314

            Big Daddy V !

        • codys moustache

          Booker t was funny looking
          R truth the same
          Kofis pecs are dodgy
Mark Henry isn’t a great promo
          Lashley couldn’t talk.
Those are your reason they were never wwe champ. Not race.
Like I said, find a good looking guy with good body, great mic skills and safe in the ring and you have your wwe champion. Colour has nothing to do with it.

If you look back at ahmed Johnson. Wwe showcased that guy to the moon (tag teaming with shawn michaels for godsakes!), but what happened? Mouthful of marbles and wasn’t safe in the ring.

          • Héctor Pérez Tovar

So you have to be hansome to be a WWE Champ? because HHH and Randy Orton are Fugly as hell. Booker shoulda been a WWE Champ

          • codys moustache

Dude vince decides who’s good looking and who isn’t, you dont

          • http://wrestlingfan.net RReigns121314

Booker T, r truth, kofi ^^^ Thats just discriminating now! Choose your words carefully..

          • codys moustache

            Fuck you talking about?

          • http://wrestlingfan.net RReigns121314

your discriminating ‘negative’ words based on their looks my friend!

          • codys moustache

First of all I couldn’t care less what they look like, but when it comes to picking the “face” of a company it matters a great deal unfortunately. Not my way its the way of the media world. Secondly some people are better looking than others, its not my fault some people aren’t visually appealing and thirdly I said booker t and r truth were funny looking which is the reason they couldn’t be face of vinces company. I’m pretty sure vince sees it that way especially in the case of booker t because he had everything else.
Fourthly I can say whatever I damn well please just like if I see a girl who isn’t hot and I’m asked my opinion, I’m not gonna be all “PC” and lie, I’m gonna have to tell the truth.
You don’t run a company like wwe. Image is everything bro, you need to wake up and smell the reality.

          • http://wrestlingfan.net RReigns121314

          • Sandman

            1. This list is crap even if it is society/media has this look on the world why have a be a star campaign if WWE base there company around image.
            2. Lashley was going to win the WWE Title hence why he was in the battle of the billionaires matchup at Wrestlemania 23, Brock Lesnar a guy that was never a good promo had a mouthpiece his whole WWE career = WWE Champion
            3. What makes a good promo and what makes you think you can read the mind of Vince or WWE see i could be 100% wrong but my opinion is Cena and Bret Hart i couldnt stand on the microphone or cut a good promo.
            4. Bret Hart, Yokozuna, Mick Foley, Sgt Slaughter, Sheamus and Ultimate Warrior were never the best looking guys out there, they held the WWE title because of busting their ass, promo work and in sheamus case knowing the right people backstage

          • codys moustache

Dude ever heard of hypocracy? It’s everywhere.
If you think wwe isn’t trying to maintain a superficial image while at the same time promoting anti bulling then your a very naive and gullible individual. The truth is people pay to see good looking people entertain, think of Hollywood if you doubt this opinion which isn’t mine but is the way of the media world. Don’t get hot at me for addressing the truth.
Mega stars are generally good looking aswell as being talented and hard working.
Also if u don’t think wwe is an image driven company go check out the briscoes shoot interview on their wwe tryout and why it didn’t go so well.
Please wake up and accept the truth

          • Sandman

im not hot at you i just find it hard to believe that WWE base their champion around image but i can see where your trying to come from.
also most people have answered with more than one word and didnt just say booker T funny looking maybe thats a preference off mine i prefer reasoning compared to a one word answer

        • http://wrestlingfan.net RReigns121314

SHELTON BENJAMIN!!! (The feud he had with HHH after being drafted to Raw in 2003/4)
RON SIMMONS!!! (After being split from JBL and APA in the 2002 draft, had a impressive singles run for awhile…)

        • http://wrestlingfan.net RReigns121314

They gave Lashley the damn ECW title instead which is EVEN WORSE !!

        • thesmarktank

None of these guys are really viable, besides maybe Booker and Henry. Lashley sucked, he got booed out of ECW. Henry was injury-prone and unsafe. Booker had a chance, but he was seen for so long as a Rock rip-off and then came King Booker… which is when he had success!

Ron Simmons was only viable candidate, really.

        • Sandman

R-Truth i could definitely see as a WWE champion but they wasted that his work in TNA definitely showed a different light on that character.
Kofi i could buy as a mid card talent even with that storyline with orton orobably a main event star at best with holding the WWE title

      • bakayaro_konoyaro666

Plus R Truth’s first run in the WWE as K-Kwik. He was good back then, after he left the wwe he cut a promo in the indies about racism in wwe.

    • Monkey D. Luffy

We’ve had Ron Simmons in the past, but people argue if that was all just a publicity stunt to attract viewers and attention.

Currently, we’ve not hand a black WWE champion, sure we’ve had World Champions but that means little unless you are the flagship champion.

We’ve even had contenders for the title such as R-Truth, Booker T and probably the most recent being Mark Henry who has never won the title in his entire career and challenged Cena out of all people.

It’s a shame none of these deserving people never got a chance to grab the MAIN title, even if it were for a brief second.

Hopefully the WWE produces an wrestler of Afro-American descent and groom him as a WWE champion

      • codys moustache

Tbh the rock is non white. The reason he was champ is because he had what wwe look for in a representative for the company. If ahmed Johnson could talk and not hurt people in the ring he could have held the title.
Here’s what it takes to be wwe champ these days and it has nothing to do with colour:
Good looks, strong personality, great body, great in ring work. Fantastic mic skills.
The must haves are great mic skills, good looks and body.
Name a black wrestler who had all those things and then say wwe is racist.
Btw I’m not defending wwe but its fact that wwe has an image and reputation to uphold that gives their brand credibility. Race has nothing to do with it.
Furthermore how do we know del rio hasn’t drop a racial stereotype on black people before??? Everyone is entitled to their opinion but to label the whole company as racist is nonsense. Find any man of any colour who has those qualities I mentioned and there’s your wwe champion. Fact

        • Monkey D. Luffy

I totally agree with you, in fact, my points don’t disagree with what you’re saying and i’m not labeling the company as a whole for being racist, just certain individuals within the company

    • Being Benjamin

Yes Rock counts because he’s black. Rock doesn’t count, pffffft.. Now who’s being racist?

      • bakayaro_konoyaro666

The reason i say that is because the wwe doesn’t look at him as african american. Want proof? When was the last time that he was celebrated as the first black champ? Never. Plis how can i be racist when i’m half black.

        • Mark Charlie-Sheen Coburn

I dare say that as his dad is black and The Rock got his job through his dad that African American is exactly how WWE see The Rock

As for “how can i be racist when i’m half black?”, the answer is…..easily. However I should point out, I don’t actually think you have said anything racist, and i’m not accusing you of being so

        • http://wrestlingfan.net RReigns121314

I agree with youu here but the reason is because wwe has seen him as more of his samoan wrestling family background than the black side of him (unfortunately)

          • codys moustache

Rock could be ashamed of his father. Maybe his father isn’t a great guy. Ever think of that? Does it always have to be wwe is racist because it doesnt acknowledge black wrestlers. Are all black people saints that are vilified by white supremacists? Or is it possible that some black people are assholes and scumbags too just like anybody else?!
This race crap is tired and childish. When is everyone going to grow up?

          • http://wrestlingfan.net RReigns121314

Are you a female or a male if you dont mind me asking?
And why on earth would he be ashamed of his father? Have you heard him say that he is? No. Its been opposite to “ashamed”. What you said is bs

      • http://wrestlingfan.net RReigns121314

Technically he’s half black and half samoan!

    • codys moustache

      Why doesn’t the rock count?

      • http://wrestlingfan.net RReigns121314

        Because he’s half Samoan!

        • codys moustache

If wwe was racist he would nt have won the wwe title

          • http://wrestlingfan.net RReigns121314

Its all bcoz of his family legacy!

          • codys moustache

Do you even know what your talking about bro? Honestly?

          • http://wrestlingfan.net RReigns121314

ofcourse I know what I’m talking about just look at my other comments on this article!
You have to take it from my perspective and some others on here but obviously that will hard for you

          • Sandman

The Rock won the title based on charisma, personality, wrestling talent, crowd reaction, microphone skill i don’t think it was because of his family heritage it was because he bust his ass day in and day out because he wanted to be the number 1 guy in that company
ive never understood it but apparently because Rock is Samoan and not african-American he doesnt count as a “black Champion” i dont know if its an IWC thing or where it originates from

          • codys moustache

It’s all nonsense, who gives a shit where someone’s from. All that matters is they are good at what they do. Right?

        • codys moustache

Btw what’s the argument here? That wwe is racist towards black people alone. No black wrestler since bad new brown has fit the criteria to be wwe champ. Read my other comments to see what I mean.

Rock is mixed race. If obamas a “black” president then rock was a “black” wwe champion

          • http://wrestlingfan.net RReigns121314

WWE don’t see it like that though…. well atleast not at the time anyway

          • codys moustache

Maybe the rock didn’t want to acknowledge his dad, ever think of that?

    • Arvind

Maybe blacks, but they’ve pushed several hispanic wrestlers. Rey, Eddie and ADR have all held the WWE title in the last 10 years. Seth Rollins looks on course for a title run. And it doesn’t matter whether it’s WHC or WWE championship because WWE refers to superstars as “world champions” as long as they’ve held either of the belts. So Mark Henry is a world champion as is Farooq as is Booker T. Not to mention Henry and Booker T (King Booker) were the most over heels in the company during their title runs.

  • bakayaro_konoyaro666

Seems like the shit.is.hitting the fan.

    • codys moustache

I knew del rio would do this. He strikes me as a bad ass

  • Monkey D. Luffy

They deserve to be labelled as racist for punishing ADR over that scumbag WWE employee who is still working for the company.

    Serves them right

  • codys moustache

Oh well I called this as soon as I heard del rio was fired. Lets see how it plays out.
Btw does anyone feel sorry for John cena?? He was embarrassed last night big time and I honestly can’t see how he comes back from this.

    • Yusei Asakura

He got the Ass whooping Stone Cold was suppose to get but never took.
      ..that’s how I feel atm

      • codys moustache

Looking back at that 2k15 panel I can see how cena saw this coming and so did austin. I some ways cena deserved it but I have to say I ve never seen any top star in wrestling history owned like that EVER! Not only is Brock the baddest champ wwe has ever had but the whole super cena thing is dead. You can tell Brock was taking the piss out of cena for real. Damn epic!

    • http://wrestlingfan.net RReigns121314

Nope he got what he deserved! Its time for his ass to turn heel!!

  • Yusei Asakura

ADR is the onyl one I really care about Rey on the other hand I hope he gets fucking nailed so hard.

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/TimPhilly317 TimPhillips

Maybe the WWE could quit firing people that stand up against racist remarks, that might help.

  • Héctor Pérez Tovar

Rey had his moment a couple of years ago but he never really had a story after the whole Eddie Guerrero thing but ADR had so much potential and the WWE looks really bad because of this incident, they fire the guy that reacted to another man’s racist remark?! I’m not saying anything against African-Americans but if the same woulda happen to an AA wrestler it would have been a different story

  • codys moustache

Now wwe has all this racist heat expect the black guys to get more tv time and better angles.
The smart thing to do is for wwe to have the new nation accusing wwe of being racist. Otherwise the balls always in AAAs court
