Ugh It’s okay someone will defeat Superman

Bray is the hero we all need but the hero we do not deserve

  • hisfirewithin

The minute Rybaxel and Rhodes Bros hit the ring and the crowd chants “Let’s Go Home” – PRICELESS

    • Necro

Watching it on TV doesn’t give it much justice compared to in person, when they came out it was actually pretty mixed, most people cheered Axel but still.

  • codys moustache

Fucking rybaxel?!? Really? What about the fucking tag champs?! Why not Cody and goldust in a baby face tag team match with the usos?!
I ve got to think wwe are delibrately screwing around.

    • Brien Bradley

Probably Dusty playin politics so his boys could get a ppy paycheck. Couldnt have the Usos involved since they had to be involved in Cena/Wyatt.

  • Bryan

This 3 hour program can’t even top nxt’s 2 hour program from thursday. HAHAHAHAHAHA

    • Jacob Cass

      Rusev’s Bulgarian, Lana’s Russian.

      • Bryan

        What?

      • cj

Lana’s actually American. Unless you’re referring to her character.

    • ksedude

NXT actually is really awesome… It reminds me of why I became a fan in the first place. I started watching on WWE network and it’s really cool.

  • ATLANTIS

So is Rusev Russian or Bulgarian? They keep changing their minds

    • Brien Bradley

Started as Bulgarian, but once the real life stuff with Ukrain/Russia started they saw it as an opportunity. Now he’s Russian. Honestly though, its only us in the IWC that notice stuff like that though.

      • ATLANTIS

That’s what I thought. But then during the UK tour he went back to being Bulgarian

        • Brien Bradley

I guess ya could probably attribute that to the U.S. having bigger anti Russian sentiments. I imagine its more complicated in Europe considering the mix of regional and ethnic groups. Thats pure speculation though.

          • ATLANTIS

not even ethnic groups. It’s a separate fucking country

  • Natalie

Ughhh I want to see Paige vs. Alicia already ._.

  • Yusei Asakura

Shots Fired Is this going to happen every time they’re in chicago

  • Yusei Asakura

Shows over We can watch the blackhawks game that was shamelessly promoted

  • Richard Martinez

    God dammit! Eat shit, Cena!

    • Jacob Cass

Meh, methinks Cena might retire soon, they just want to give him one last ginormous push before then. Bray’s not even into his first full year on the main roster, he likely has many more good matches in him.

      • Brien Bradley

I dont know about retire, but this is definitely a series designed to enhance Wyatt. Even without a win, people will remember it was a helluva match. Hopefully they dont try to turn Wyatt full face and let him walk the line as a “tweener”.

        • ksedude

I doubt it. The creative team doesn’t seem that smart lately. They’ll probably say “hey people are cheering them!” and turn him into a complete babyface, losing all his edge and mystique in the process and relegating him to perpetual midcard status.

          I hope I’m wrong.

  • Rawr

this show has nothing going for it 5/10

  • Bryan

Cena winning just ruined everything else for me. Watch dogs time.

    • Necro

You take things a little too personally, how did a GREAT match ruin the night? Mind-boggling.

      • Bryan

Because i passionately hate john cena. If you wanna know how much i hate him, go to youtube and watch bruce blitz payback review. And i feel the same way he feels.

        • Necro

But at least for this match, I don’t see why hate on him, he put on a hell of a show and got CHICAGO to get more cheers for him in the end, great match and I dislike Cena, but I can not dislike his performance tonight.

          • Bryan

It’s not about his performance. Bray just should’ve went over. He really should’ve won. Now what? How does bray wyatt recover from this feud?

          • Necro

You find out tonight on Raw, you’re acting like Cena calls the shots on who he wants to bury! It’s not like that at all! It’s not his fault! Plus maybe Bray losing is part of a bigger thing! Wyatt to me isn’t someone to carry any sort of belt!

          • Bryan

Yea who will he go after next? Santino? I’m off the. Bray wyatt bandwagon. Maybe my hatred for cena is unhealthy, but fuck him.

          • Necro

Not even unhealthy, just unwarranted :S

          • Bryan

Yea well……i’m done for tonight. I’m out of energy.

          • ksedude

I don’t hate John Cena, I don’t even dislike him. I’m not intentionally quoting Punk either lol.

I respect John Cena the man, and I respect the work he does in and out of the ring for WWE.

I just don’t like the fact that for 9 years he’s been the same character. Same personality, same theme song, same result of every feud he’s ever been in. He puts over LITERALLY 1-2 people clean per year. Maybe. I don’t think that’s cool. I get that he’s the kids’ hero in the PG Era, and that him losing would make kids sad or whatever. I just think that a clean win over Cena could launch someone like Bray Wyatt into superstardom. People like HHH, Batista, The Rock etc getting wins over him do nothing for their careers. They’re already established. Daniel Bryan beat him cleanly, and it was basically all for naught because within 3 minutes he was pedigreed and beaten by Orton. I just think Cena turning heel or putting a young talent over would be a good way to give back to the WWE while keeping it moving forward.

          • Bryan

Man stone cold and rock were tapping out all the time. I was sad as kid when that happened but i toughed it out. These kids are soft. Hahaha :P

          • ksedude

Actually, according to Jericho AND Edge, at SummerSlam 2010 Cena did decide to have Team Nexus lose to Team WWE. He planned the whole finish even though Jericho and Edge wanted Nexus to go over to keep their momentum. They felt Cena buried them, and Jericho even said “And honestly..where is Wade Barrett now?”

This was before Bad News Barrett. It only took him 4 years to recover from his feud with John Cena. I hope Bray and the Wyatt Family don’t suffer the same fate.

          • Bryan

Exactly. But explaining this shit over and over to people gets old. We can go on and on with these marks or smarks or fucking rosebuds or whatever they call themselves, i mean half of people that get a thrill from attacking people on the internet for opinions, don’t even do their research about anything. These people are not as smart as they like to think they are. And i’m tired of arguing with these unaware motherfuckers. I will debate with the intelligent any day of the week though. But i’m exhausted, been going head on with people on this site since december. I’ve explained that nexus thing so many times bro, but what’s the point? People disagree with even the facts now day

          • Necro

One occasion, and who really were the ones that shouldn’t have been buried? Barrett? Harris? They came back eventually, everyone else on that group wasn’t worth bringing back with the exception of MAYBE Justin Gabriel.

  • Vince Russo.

      You mean Bluetista

  • cj

And they thought this PPV was gonna be better than NXT takeover ? Yeah they can forget that .

    • Bryan

Takeover was the shit. And Payback gives me the shits

      • Necro

You’re crazy, Payback was better than Takeover.

        • Bryan

Lol funny. I almost had a stroke when cena one. I honestly yelled for 5 minutes. I’ve haven’t yelled at all since 2009.

          • Necro

That’s a personal thing, if Cena was honestly the only reason you think Takeover was better you need to rethink things and how to evaluate shows as a whole.

          • Bryan

He’s actually not the only reason. The midget match, i didn’t really enjoy the IC match. The shield match and the cesaro matches are the only ones i enjoyed. Whereas on Takeover, i enjoyed the tag match, women’s match, zayn vs breeze, and the main event

          • Necro

Midget match was great for the crowd, full of adults mind you. IC match was fast paced and had a lot of high spots. I’m assuming you’d have thought Wyatt vs Cena would have BEEN ZOMG AMAZING had Wyatt won but obviously that didn’t happen

          • Bryan

Any match with cena, i rarely watch. Honestly last cena match i seen before this one was when sandow cashed in. I’m serious. And fuck the midgets. That tried a midget division on Smackdown like 10 years ago and it failed

          • Necro

You ruin it for yourself :|

          • pancho

I loved both PPVs honestly. Although, I am not a big Tyson Kidd fan. I know he can wrestle his ass off but he just seems like a pussy in real life.

          • Bryan

He seems like a pussy in real life? This is where men deceives himself. step out of That pattern of thinking. And know i’m off topic, but seriously, This is why people as a race (and there’s only one race of us) can’t come together.

          • pancho

What the hell are you talking about? Seriously? Telling me to change my whole way of thinking because I don’t think Tyson Kidd is a tough individual is pretty small minded. And yes, calling someone a pussy means just that. I mean, seriously, it’s one fricking comment that you are taking way too seriously. Dude is just not believable to me. Is that better, pal? Incredible in the ring, but seems like he would get his ass beat by a lot of people in real life.

          • Bryan

Well it’s not about how he looks in real life. BJ Penn doesn’t like a threat in real life either. But that’s what i call the “pick and choose your fights mentality” it’s almost as if you’re saying that you wouldn’t run up on a guy that looks intimidating, but you’ll easily act tough in front of a guy like tyson kidd.

          • pancho

How you look and how you conduct yourself is an important part of professional wrestling. Your mannerisms, the way you walk, the way you talk, etc that is important to the audience. To me he doesn’t do a good job with that and comes across soft. I would not be afraid to approach Tyson Kidd based off his tv character, no. Now, would he whip my ass in real life, I dunno, possibly. Just because I think his tv product is weak doesn’t necessarily mean that he is . . .

          • pancho

Who cares if he won? Do you think that it’s over? I guarantee that Cena has NOT seen the last of Bray.

  • Yusei Asakura

The 4th man has appeared for evolution and not even it could make this night good

  • Jt Segur

golden boy cena does it again smh okay

  • jmull

You’re a fool or a kid if you thought they were gonna put Bray over Cena is a best 2 of 3 (especially a last man standing), but it was a great match. The Cesaro/Sheamus match was a disappointment, especially the finish. The Shield and Evolution delivered, didn’t see that finish coming at all. Pretty good show overall considering what time of year it is.

    • Yusei Asakura

Man I swear I couldn’t agree for you more I have no regrets paying 9$ for The Shield Vs Evolution I mean it was nice seeing all of the titles getting some attention aside from the Uso’s being involved in the Cena match.

I honestly have to say .. having them involved in just only the Cena match was perfect.

      • jmull

You’re right about the Usos. And having then involved in Cena/Wyatt gives them more of a rub at this point than having their own match against Harper and Rowan

  • Tyler Guffey

Huh, you people haven’t gotten used to Cena always winning in the end? Apparently not. lol This show was decent, opener was better than expected, Cena-Wyatt stole the show, and Shield-Evolution delivered. Definitely worth my $9.99 this month compared to $39.99.

  • Tyler Guffey

    Also, we got BLUETISTA!!!

  • Bryan

Shout out to Bruce Blitz man. For real

  • Necro

I watched this in person, I can give a much better detail about how the fans took it than what the TV programming showed.
-El Torito vs Hornswoggle was a hilarious fun to watch match, the crowd loved it and did have some tables chants along with a “This is awesome chant”
-Sheamus came in with a very mixed reaction, Heyman had 80% cheer and everyone was rooting Cesaro. Match was really solid and the crowd loved it except for the ending which confused a lot of us but it still didn’t hinder the match as a whole. Another this is awesome chant broke out near the end.
    - Cody Rhodes and Goldust got a really good pop along with Rybaxel surprisingly, few Goldberg chants but nothing overwhelming. Crowd was kind of silent for the first half of the match, picked up near the end.
    - Lana got a good pop,(she looks as good in person as on TV, WOW), Rusev got boo’d plus USA chants, a good amount of we want Lana chants came out along wit Ziggler chants. Big E got a decent pop and a holy shit chant came when Big speared Rusev through the ropes. Crowd was into the match and respected the ending.
    - Kofi Kingston got a real nice pop while Bo Dallas was honestly a full 50/50. When Kane came out it was a huge pop for him and the Bo Dallas ending was actually more positive than anything.
    - RVD with a great pop and Wade Barrett’s was just as good. THE RVD VS Bad News Barrett CHANTS WERE INSANE! Ending was great and the fans were really happy with the match.
    - Easily the pop of the night came to Daniel Bryan, being a part of a YES chant was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had. The crowd was not silent at all during this whole segment and it was great watching it live be around everyone being with Daniel Bryan.
    - Bray Wyatt with the 3rd best pop of the night, everyone was with him singing and Cena actually came out to such a mixed reaction, the area i was at was sadly pro Cena. The Cena sucks chants were insane the whole time, singing when Bray was posing on the steel steps was awesome, the fans were engaged with the Harper/Rowan vs usos spots and respected Cena’s win even though some were upset.
-Alicia Fox had kind of the worst reaction of the night….Paige got a better pop than what you saw on TV and various Paige chants throughout the match happened, when she won with the scorpion crosslock the fans gave her the great cheers, by the way she looks good in person just like Lana :D
    - Evolution actually got a solid amount of cheers for the situation, and when the Shield Came out i was in the middle of the section right next to where the shield came out so it was tough to see, but they got the 2nd best pop of the night easily. Everyone loved this match and no one was sitting down during that whole match. When the Shield won it was some huge pops along with after the show ended they posed and got some more great reactions.
All in all it was an amazing experience and pay-per-view, every match on the card was solid and the Daniel Bryan segment was amazing to be a part of. The CM Punk chants were there but the crowd respected the great matches that were going on and only really were strong 3-4 times at best. Great show!

  • Talha Shafiq

why everybody cheers for shield? i am and always will with evolution

  • SemajTheSellout

I thought it was a great PPV. 2nd best match was Sheamus vs Cesaro. I really love Sheamus even though he had been a bit cheesy pre injury but he seems to be gradually getting his edge back. I like it. Confusing finish, but the best result because he just gained the title.

The worse match was the Divas match and that was better than any divas match on the main roster in about 5 years other than Alicia vs Paige in London. It was still pretty solid.

On paper, I hate any little person match but it was still pretty decent because of the wild spots by the other teammates.

My biggest issue was no Dolph and the continued burial of Kofi. However, no matter how they misuse Kane, I’m always happy to see him. It started when I was an 8-9 yr old Michael Myers fan and Kane ripped the door off the cell. I don’t think it will ever stop.

I don’t need to speak on the Main Event, because it was near perfect. I
was suprised by the Big E vs Rusev match. I wish it could have gone on longer because no matter how much he hurt Rusev, Big E looks weak losing that fast.

All in all I thought it was a dope ppv. 7.5/10. Stronger fueds and hatred between the opponents could have made it much better. The action was awesome in my opinion. Just not as invested as I’d like to be. Which is the issue WWE has had for far too long.

  • chidaddy

it’s simple a few good matches Shemus vs Cesaro was fun but silly finish, Rusev vs Big E short one good spot but overall did nothing Cena vs Bray fun match esp with the Uso’s and Rowan & harper hitting spots outside, Shield vs Evolution if you didn’t see this finish coming you were blind as a bat the fact that evolution demolished the shield and REFUSED to pin anyone was definitely a sign of things to come, everything else they could have saved until RAW

  • Alex Robinson

I just wish wwe ans Cena would put someone over, who else can bray Wyatt really go over on that can bring him to the next level. Evolutiob/Shield was the highlight of the ppv wish there was equal punishment handed out, evolution handed out serious punishment while shield really didn’t but got the quick win at the end.

  • https://twitter.com/notpeanutbutter Jam

I think Erick Rowan & Luke Harper ruin potential fair matches too much. The match card said “John Cena vs Bray Wyatt,” NOT “John Cena & The Usos vs The Wyatt Family with the stipulation the either Cena or Bray Wyatt must be the last man standing”

I seriously think this whole Wyatts & Cena thing should’ve ended immediately after Wrestlemania. It’s getting incredibly stale & we’re basically seeing the same matches over & over.
