WWE Posts Storyline Injury Updates On Triple H & John Cena

– WWE’s website has posted a storyline update on Triple H after Monday’s RAW. Dr. Michael Sampson noted that they advised Triple H he shouldn’t wrestle after Extreme Rules because of head and jaw trauma he suffered. Sampson says after further evaluation, Triple H is still exhibiting some post-concussion symptoms and he’ll be out of action until WWE’s medical staff can do further neurological tests.

He noted that more neurological tests will be conducted near the end of the week when Triple H’s headache has subsided.

– WWE also has a storyline update on John Cena. Dr. Sampson noted that Cena is banged up and has multiple contusions from the Extreme Rules match but he is doing better than anticipated. As for a recovery timeline, Sampson described it as “day by day,” noting that he does not anticipate any problems that would hinder the process.

Cena is scheduled to be back on RAW next Monday.
