WWE Raw Results – August 27, 2018

Welcome to WWE Monday Night Raw.

We are in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and your announcers are Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Jonathan Coachman.

WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring and he is alone so that means the people of Canada treat him like most American crowds.

Roman says he told Braun that he would meet him at 8 PM and it must be 8:05. He is not here to hold this title, he is here to defend it. If Braun is not going to come out, it will be the Shield Workhorse Open Challenge.

Braun makes his way to the stage and he has his briefcase. Braun goes to the ring.

Braun says workhorse is funny when you had to bring out your boys to help you last week.

Roman says the Shield is a Brotherhood of Workhorses. No one tells them what to do, not even him. They know what it is like to be at the top of the mountain, but you have no clue. All you do is walk around saying ‘Get These Hands’. The fact is all that you lift with those hands are objects. Roman says he has lifted every single WWE Championship to offer. That is why he is the guy and why he runs this yard. If you want to be on his level, step up, cash in that contract and let’s have a title match in Toronto.

Braun says he is not cashing in tonight. Braun says that everyone knows that if he did, Roman’s boys would come out and save him again. Braun says he won’t cash in until September 16th, but all you have to do is show up at the place where your brothers cannot get involved. They are going to go to war where they have never been before. Braun says he will see Roman at Hell in a Cell.

Roman says Braun is starting to sound like a monster.

Roman and Braun shake hands . . .

Dolph Ziggler’s music plays and he says that since we know what is going to happen at SummerSlam, he wants to deal with SummerSlam and the crime of the century when he lost his title thanks to Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.

Roman asks if getting pinned in the middle of the ring is stealing.

Dolph says that Seth has been trying to catch up to him, but when he gets his rematch, it will be on his terms. Drew and he have proven themselves to everyone.

Drew says that Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman is a different story altogether.

Dolph says they need a new challenge and it is you.

Drew says the Universal Champion and Mr. Monster in the Bank sit on top of the Monday Night Raw mountain. It is a double edged sword because when you are at the top, the only way to go is down.

Dolph says they are willing to do that tonight.

Roman says you sound tough from the stage but they are willing to do it now if you want.

Before we get the official match, we get to see the man in charge, Baron Corbin.
