WWE Raw Results – November 25th, 2013

We are in Long Island with our WWE Champion Randy Orton opening the show. We are told Michael Strahan is the special guest host tonight. Also we will have CM Punk and Daniel Bryan vs The Wyatt Family tonight. Randy Orton grabs a mic and says he deserves an apology. He says anyone who thought he wouldn’t show up today as WWE Champion should apologize to him. He then says The Authority will join him ringside, and introduces Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. They are now on their way to the ring.

Triple H congratulates Randy and says they couldn’t be more pleased. He says that when he has always known Orton to have the potential to be one of the greatest WWE Superstars ever. Stephanie says he did exactly what they thought he would do. Randy then says that they have made all this about themselves. He says that he was on his way to an untainted win until they came down to the ring last night. Triple H says he was on the verge of losing, but Orton says that he didn’t need that help. He says he defeated The Big Show because he is the face of the WWE, and the greatest WWE superstar ever. John Cena’s music hits.

Cena introduces himself as the World Heavyweight Champion. Stephanie McMahon asks what he wants. He says these people chant for Daniel Bryan because they are sick of who is WWE Champion. John Cena then says that Randy Orton said he is champion, but he has to disagree with him. John Cena says he feels it is time for one champion. He challenges Randy Orton for both World Championships!

Stephanie says this is something that they have been thinking of this for awhile. Randy asks if they are serious. Triple H says that Randy needs to grow up, and that if he is so confident he should not cry about it. Triple H then announces that both World Titles will be on the line in a TLC match in 3 weeks. It will be John Cena vs Randy Orton!

Up next will be The Shield vs Rey Mysterio, Cody Rhodes and Goldust. We cut to commercial.

We return with The Shield in the ring.

The Shield vs Cody Rhodes, Goldust, and Rey Mysterio

The Shield immiedietly ambush Rhodes and Mysterio on the apron, and triple team Goldust.  Goldust and Rollins are the legal men. Rollins hits a dropkick and tags in Ambrose. Ambrose begins to choke Goldust on the middle rope. Goldust catches Ambrose and launches him over the tope rope, but Ambrose hangs on. Rollins is tagged in and Goldust throws him over the rope. Goldust catches Rollins with an Atomic drop. Reigns is tagged in and hits a huge clothesline before Goldust makes the tag. Reigns stands tall as we cut to commercial.

We return with Ambrose and Goldust in the ring. Ambrose tags in Reigns and they get double DDT’d by Goldust. Rollins is tagged in as well as Mysterio. Mysterio begins his comeback, and follows it with a hurricanrana. Rollins and Mysterio hit a double cross body. Ambrose and Cody are tagged in. Cody hits a springboard dropkick, and follows it with a roll up for a 2 count. Cody hits the Alabama Slam and goes for a cover. Reigns breaks it up. Reigns then spears both Goldust and Mysterio. Rhodes knocks Reigns out the ring but Ambrose hits his headlock driver for the three count.

Winners: The Shield

The Shield celebrate in the ring as we are told Michael Strahan is coming out next. We are also told Dolph Ziggler vs Damien Sandow will compete in a match of our choosing. The three choices are Hardcore, Street Fight, and Lumberjack match. We head to commercial.

We come back from commercial with Miz TV. Miz welcomes Michael Strahan to the ring. Michael Strahans titantron comes on but Titus O’neil comes out instead. Titus then proceeds to mock Michael Strahan, saying it is an honor to be standing next to The Miz. Miz then says the only question he has is what is with “the gap”. Titus says it represents life. The Miz says his gap is bigger than the Giants and the playoffs. Titus then says that he just wanted to say that he is the complete package. Michael Strahan now makes his way to the ring.

Strahan asks how New York are doing. He says he likes Miz and Titus but their jokes are weak. Strahan says he is ready to have some fun tonight. Strahan says their will be a main event tag team match tonight. It will be Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio vs John Cena and The Big Show. Miz then says that he competes every night, and asks if Michael can hack it. Michael says Kelly is more intimidating then him. Miz and Strahan argue until Titus interrupts. Titus says one move from The Miz can hurt him badly. The Miz asks if he can handle a hip toss. Michael agrees to do one. Miz tries to do the Hip Toss but he can’t lift Strahan. Titus tries but he is also unsuccessful. Miz tires to hip toss him again but Strahan reverses him into a hip toss of his own. Titus and Strahan begin to the millions of dollars dance but Strahan hip tosses him as well. All three begin to do the millions of dollars dance as the segment ends.

Michael Cole shows us how to download the WWE App. We head to commercial break as we are shown the options for Dolph Ziggler vs Damien Sandow.

We return to a Raw Rebound of Big E Langston winning the Intercontinental Championship. Curtis Axel and Ryback are in the ring.

Mark Henry and Big E Langston vs Ryback and Curtis Axel

Axel and Langston star the match. Big E hits a shoulder block in the corner, followed by a back breaker. Ryback is tagged in and takes down Big E. Langston kicks out at 2. Ryback hits a gorilla press slam for a 2 count. Axel is tagged in and begins to hammer down on Big E. Ryback is tagged in a puts a headlock on Big E. Langston fights out and hits a belly to belly. Henry is tagged in and so is Axel. Henry hits a couple of clotheslines and finishes it off with a powerslam. Big E takes out Ryback and Mark Henry hits the WSM on Axel. Mark Henry gets the 3 count for the win.

Winners: Mark Henry and Big E Langston

Up next is a rematch of last nights 7 on 7 divas elimination tag match. We head to commercial break.

We return with a replay of John Cena’s challenge to Randy Orton.

Naomi, Cameron, The Bellas, Natalya, Eva Marie and JoJo vs Aksana, Tamina Snuka, Alicia Fox, Kaitlyn, AJ Lee, Summer Rae, and Rosa Mendez

Aksana and Brie start off this match. Brie hits a Russian leg sweep for a 2 count. Brie hits a facebuster for a 3 count. Brie tags in Nikki and hits her finisher on Rosa for a 3 count. Cameron is tagged in aswell as Tamina. Cameron is thrown around until she tags in Naomi. Tamina hits a Big boot for a 3 count. Naomi is eliminated. Cameron goes for a cross body but is caught in a Samoan drop for a 3 count. Cameron is eliminated. Natalya comes in a and goes for a roll up for a 2 count. Natalya hits a suplex and scoop slam.  JoJo is tagged in and covers Tamina for a 3 count.

JoJo rolls up Alicia for a 2 count. Alicia hits a tilt a whirl backbreaker for a 3 count. Eva is tagged in and rolls up Alicia for a 3 count. Natalya is tagged in. Kaitlyn comes in and is put in the sharpshooter. Kaitlyn taps and is eliminated.  AJ comes in and tries for a roll up but is turned in a sharpshooter. AJ reverses it into a rollup for a 3 count. AJ celebrates and takes a facebuster for a 3 count. Summer is the last one standing. Summer and Nikki both dance in the ring until Summer tries to leave. The divas don’t let her leave and Nikki hits a back breaker for the 3 count.

We are shown a replay of the Broadway Brawl from last week. We are once again told the options for Ziggler vs Sandow tonight as we head to commercial. And that match is next.

We come back from commercial and are shown a video package for the Slammys which are two weeks away. Damien Sandow is in the ring with Jerry Lawler. Jerry is about to announce the match type before Sandow grabs the mic. Sandow says he is above this and should not be competing in circus like matches. Jerry grabs the mic and the results are shown as a Hardcore match!

Dolph Ziggler vs Damien Sandow (Hardcore Match) 

The ring is filling with objects as Ziggler makes his way to the ring. Sandow immediately tries to hit Ziggler with a golf club but Ziggler ducks and hit a dropkick. Sandow gains control and kicks Ziggler to the outside. Sandow throws Ziggler into the post and into a garbage can. Ziggler then whips Sandow into the time keeper barrier, and follows it with a clothesline. Sandow hits Ziggler with a microphone, and follows it with a clothesline from the top of the barricade.

Ziggler gets up and grabs a trash can and puts it over the head of Sandow. Ziggler hits a dropkick and we head to commercial as both men are down. We return with Ziggler being choked by Sandow. Sandow dumps all the garbage out of the garbage can but Ziggler hits a neckbreaker on the garbage. Ziggler grabs a paddle but Sandow kicks him in the gut. Sandow hits a scoop slam and follows it with the Elbow of Disdain. Ziggler rolls out the ring and grabs a fire extinguisher. Ziggler blows it in the face of Sandow, where Damien retreats in the ring.

Ziggler then hits 10 punches in the corner and follows it with a neckbreaker. Ziggler then grabs a paddle and hits Sandow in the back with it, and follows it with a Fame-Asser. Ziggler goes for the cover for a 2 count. Sandow gets up and hits Ziggler with a garbage can on the outside, and rams Ziggler into the steel steps. Ziggler is thrown in the ring and Sandow begins to hammer on him in the middle of the ring. Ziggler reverses Sandow with a DDT on a chair for a 2 count.

Sandow moves out of the way and hits a paddle to the back of Ziggler, and then finishes him off with the You’re Welcome on a garbage can for a 3 count.

Winner: Damien Sandow

Michael Cole reminds us that Christmas Bounty comes out this week starring The Miz and we are shown a clip of it. We go backstage with Strahan and Santino, where they are interrupted by Rowan. Rowan hands him a sheep mask and Strahan puts it on.  Santino comes back and tells Strahan to give the mask to Kelly so she can put it on her turkey and cook it with it. Strahan looks confused as we head to commercial.

We return and are told that this Friday is a Thanksgiving Special Edition of Smackdown. We cut to Renee in the ring where she introduces CM Punk. She then introduces Daniel Bryan. Renee congratulates them both and asks for their thoughts on their match last night and their match tonight. CM Punk asks if they survived last night and Daniel Bryan says yes. CM Punk then asks if the odds are stacked against them and Bryan says yes. CM Punk asks if Wyatt is a false profit and Bryan says yes. CM Punk then asks what a better tag team name is: The Goats or the Beard and The Best. Daniel Bryan is about to say yes but he then says thats not a yes or no question. CM Punk then says its okay because tonight they will beat the Wyatts.

CM Punk says this 3 on 2 handicap match is uncreative and it isn’t a surprise because Triple H made it, but he doesn’t care how many people they face, because they will beat them all. Daniel Bryan says that it Wyatt won’t stop until they finish them, but he won’t let that happen. Daniel Bryan asks what time it is and Punk screams its clobberin time as The Wyatts music hits. The 3 on 2 handicap match is up next.

The Wyatt Family vs CM Punk and Daniel Bryan

Punk and Rowan start the match, where Punk is thrown around the ring. Punk fights back and tags in Bryan. Bryan gets some kicks in the corner but then taste a big elbow to the face from Rowan. Rowan tags in Harper, and Harper flings Bryan in the corner. Bryan does his back flip and follows it with a clothesline. Punk is tagged in and tries to hit a snap mare but can’t. Bryan is tagged in and hits a leg sweep on Harper. Harper hits a couple of uppercuts and tags in Bray. Bray hits a couple of headbutts on Bryan and then tags in Rowan. Rowan hits a scoop slam on Bryan, and follows it with a headbutt.

Rowan goes for a big boot but misses. Bryan tags in Punk and Punk hits a flying clothesline. Punk hits a couple of clotheslines that don’t drop Rowan, and follow it with a high knee that drops Rowan to the outside. Punk then hits a suicide dive, and brings him the ring and hits a neckbreaker. Punk hits the elbow and calls for the GTS. Bray distracts Punk and Rowan grabs him and throws him to the outside. Punk is down as we head to commercial.

We return with Punk locked in a headlock from Erik Rowan. Punk fights out but gets clubbed right back down. Bray is tagged in and begins to beat on Punk in the corner. Bray hits a scoop slam and follows it with a slow cover for a 2 count. Bray tags in Harper, and Harper does his Gator Roll. Harper puts Punk in a headlock and punk fights out, until taking an uppercut. Rowan is tagged in and puts Punk in a bear hug. Punk gets out will some elbows, and lands on the ground and hits a high kick. Both men are down and Bryan and Harper are tagged in. Bryan hits a suicide dive on the outside to Bray, and comes back in the ring and hits a top rope dropkick on Harper.

Bryan then hits multiple kicks to the chest of Harper, and tries for the Yes lock. Rowan enters the ring and and Bryan dropkicks both men in the corner. Punk enters the ring as well as Bray. The ref loses control and calls it a no contest.

No Contest

The Wyatts take Bryan and leave and as Punk goes to chase them down Reigns comes out of no where and spears him. The Shield brings Punk back into the ring and hit a triple powerbomb on Punk. The Shield stand tall over Punk as The Wyatts have kidnapped Bryan. We cut to commercial break.

We return to the back with Miz prepping for his match up next.

Kofi Kingston vs The Miz 

Kofi goes for a handshake but they both slap each other in the face at the same time. Kofi and The Miz exchange quick holds and pin falls to start the match before standing at a stalemate. Miz hits a snapmare but Kofi rolls out and hits a dropkick. Kofi clotheslines Miz over the rope and before jumping to the outside Kofi stops as Miz moves out of the way. Miz gets back in the ring and gains control. Miz hits a kick to the head for a 2 count.

Miz puts Kofi in a headlock, where Kofi fights out. Miz tries for a back suplex but Kofi lands on his feet. Kofi begins his comeback, and follows it with a Boom Drop. Kofi goes for Trouble In Paradise but Miz catches his leg and tries for the Figure 4. Kofi fights out and hits the SOS for a 2 count. Kofi then hits a cross body for a 2 count, but Miz rolls him over and gets the 3 count.

Winner: The Miz

We get Mick Foley giving us his best salesman impression for WWEShop before we head to commercial.

We return with R-Truth in the ring. R-Truth says that Brodus Clay and himself have thought of something. He said that they want to give a brother a chance. He then introduces Xavier Woods.

Xavier Woods vs Heath Slater

Slater starts off whipping Woods in the ropes but Woods hits a hurricanrana. Woods takes a hard kick to the head from Slater. Slater runs at Woods from the corner but Woods moves out of the way. Woods then hits a bunch of right hands, and follows it with a clothesline. Woods then hits his Boot to the face for the win.

Winner: Xavier Woods

Xavier Woods celebrates in the ring as we are shown a video package of WWE’s new DVD that celebrates the 50 years of the company. Still to come is our tag team main event of John Cena and Big Show vs Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio. We cut to commercial.

We return with Strahan in the back. He signs footballs for The Bellas,  and Cameron and Naomi. Eva comes in and says she just wants him to meet her, and then Goldust enters and gets in the face of Strahan. Our tag team main event is up next.

John Cena and The Big Show vs Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio

Big Show and Del Rio start this match off. Big Show shoves Del Rio in the corner and hits him with a huge chop. Show whips him in the other corner and does the same thing. Big Show then hits a big shoulder block, and tries for another chop, but Del Rio moves out of the way. Del Rio tags in Orton and Big Show begins to lay in him. Big Show hits two big chops on Orton, and follows it with a big headbutt. Show then hits a scoop slam and follows it with an elbow drop. Big Show begins to choke Orton on the ropes as we head to commercial.

We return with John Cena being kicked in the back from Del Rio. Del Rio puts Cena on the rope and puts him in a tree of woe. Cena gets his balance back on the top rope but Del Rio hits a huge enzaguri. Orton is tagged in and begins to stomp on Cena near his corner. Orton puts Cena in a headlock and Cena tries to fight out and tag Big Show. Cena hits a back suplex but Del Rio is tagged in and hits a huge DDT. Del Rio goes for the cover but only gets a 2 count. Del Rio tries to dropkick Cena on the middle rope but Cena moves and Del Rio falls to the outside. Big Show is tagged in and begins his comeback sequence on Del Rio.

Big Show goes for a spear but Del Rio goes for a low dropkick. Del Rio hits a big kick to the head and Big Show is extremely out of it. Orton is tagged in and begins to stomp on Shows head. Orton tags in Del Rio and Orton holds Big Shows head as Del Rio kicks him again. Del Rio goes for the cover but Big Show kicks out. Big Show goes for the tag but he is in the wrong corner. The doctor comes in to check on Big Show, and it looks like the match will be stopped. Big Show doesn’t want to stop and Orton gives him no space. Orton hits a huge DDT and looks for the punt again. Orton goes for the punt and Big Show hits a huge spear.

Cena is tagged in and so is Del Rio. Cena hits his comeback and goes for the 5 knuckle shuffle but Del Rio kicks his head. Del Rio hits a backbreaker and goes for the cross armbreaker. Cena rolls through and locks in the STF. Del Rio has no choice but to tap.

Winners: Big Show and John Cena

Del Rio attacks Cena and goes for the cross armbreaker but Cena hits the AA. Orton blast Cena in the head with the WWE title and goes to grab the World Heavyweight Championship. Orton holds both championships over his head as Raw concludes.
