WWE Re-Writes Script For 2015 Movie To Replace CM Punk, WWE Distancing Themselves

CM Punk

World Wrestling Entertainment was facing an issue with CM Punk being tied to a lot of licensing and future projects. Word from someone working on WWE Studios’ Flinstones movie that comes out in 2015 reports that the script is being re-written for another Superstar to replace Punk’s character, likely Rey Mysterio. Rey has indeed been added to the movie.

WWE is really trying to distance themselves from CM Punk and not use any Punk material, as seen with them removing him from WrestleMania recap video packages and other media. Regarding the 24 episodes of Slam City that are completed, WWE couldn’t take Punk’s character out because they’ve been done for months but they will be downplaying his involvement.

The Camp WWE adult cartoon that is expected to hit the WWE Network this year will also likely be re-done now that Punk has left the company.

Distancing themselves while still making bank on his merchandise. He’s the one guy who’s left that i can remember where they haven’t heavily discounted his merch.

Yea HHH taking a shot at him on monday is really distancing. How does it feel being the one getting spit in the face wwe?

They arent ignoring him completley, there seems to be two major reasons behind this.

    1) He acted like a bitch and just walked out before Mania, the big boys are offended and I dont personally blame them

    2) They dont want to keep reminding fans about him, the chants at events are starting to die out and they wanna keep it that way.

However, they arent stupid, he existed, and the network will prove that, they just dont want to keep glorifying someone that stuck his middle finger up at the company.

So…then this isn’t an elaborate work. Hm. Can’t he get sued for leaving before his contract expired? This is so strange. It seems odd that anyone in the WWE would just let a top star walk out with no repercussions…aside from no longer being mentioned.

I think HHH is honestly the only one bothered by the Punk situation because Punk didn’t feel that vs HHH at WM was a main event type of match, and that seriously bothered HHH’s ego. Vince actually wants Punk back, but HHH is pulling the strings alot nowadays
